We were surprised to discover that there is no bracket supplied with the Freediving Snorkel for Adults FRD120S/N: 000000749047 Consequently it can't be attached to the diving mask buckle. So we will have to come back all the way to Emeryville for refund and exchange as Decathlon SF Market St does not carry any other better snorkel (Like the 520). Bummer!
Not great as it fills with water easily In choppy water.
I used this for approximately 2 months. Then it started to leak water.

Just bought two of these snorkels as well as two masks and two pairs of flippers. Imagine our surprise/shock when we unwrapped them at home, to find that the mask to snorkel to attachment clip is an extra, to be purchased separately. I cannot find any mention of this fact in the technical details. Had we just packed them away for out coming holiday's it would have been a big disappointment. I have bought several sets over the years from various manufacturers and never had an issue. For me this is a daft as buying a pair of shoes only to find out that the laces are an extra. If the omission can be justified by costing, there should be a clear notification that the clip needs to be purchased.
Snorkel just felt good quality.
The valve worked fine (they can leak if badly made), and the kids loved that when you blow through it jets the water sideways.... Good shape, comfortable mouthpiece, good visibility for the end of the tube. Good piece of kit
For 2019 the snorkels don’t have a hook to attach to the mask strap. Yes you can slip the snorkel through the loop in the strap. But it is nowhere near secured as well as when there was a simple hook attached.
I have been very satisfied, good quality snorkel. Haven’t yet used during the wavy water. Works perfectly on the calm open water. Only issue is, does not have any ring/ hook to attach a mask. Had to go to a dive shop to buy a rubber dibble o ring in order to fix it on my mask. Such a simple thing but a major blow! Would have given 5 starts otherwise..

Good quality
It is good for beginners, but water was coming inside sometimes. Good to use in areas with very less/negligible waves... where water is calm
It dosent have a grip had to use a rubber band to use it with snorkeling mask...even water valve dosent work properly

For any snorkel to have a amazing experience it needs to be clamped to the mask strap only then it would give 100% grip, in case if these snorkels are used with any other brand mask with no snorkel holder to it you can pick the snorkel clips available at stores and online. so we would recommend you to visit the nearest decathlon outlet and our sport leader would be happy to assist you with the same.

Valve
When freediving, water can enter the snorkel due to immersion or splashing. The valve located at the bottom of the snorkel makes it easier to expel water. Thanks to the valve, most of the water is drained from the bottom, which means the user does not have to blow out so hard. This is unlike a conventional snorkel where the water is drained from the top.
How to use the valve
Simply blow out gently to empty the snorkel through the valve. After breathing out, be careful when you breathe back in. Inhale slowly as some residual water can remain in the snorkel. If in doubt, do not panic; raise your head out of the water and the snorkel will empty itself instantly through the valve. High-speed intensive swimming is not recommended as it can move the valve and cause water to enter.
Valve maintenance
Sometimes sand or salt gets stuck between the valve and the hard part of the snorkel, this prevents the valve from correctly lying flat and ensuring a watertight seal. In this case, simply rinse the snorkel thoroughly with clean water and check that the valve lays flat.
Breathe easily
With its comfortable mouthpiece and the correct size of the snorkel, you can breathe safely.
Silicone
Silicone is an extremely flexible material. The silicone mouthpiece provides increased mouth comfort.
Pvc-free
This product contains no PVC.
Mouthpiece
The mouthpiece is the part of the snorkel that is placed in the mouth. Its specially designed shape makes it one of the most comfortable snorkels for your mouth.
Wave guard
The deflector is the part located at the top of the snorkel. Its curved shape creates a protection limiting the inflow of water through the top of the snorkel.
