A well-supported ankle + super comfort = a skate that adapts to your needs!
Locking buckle on the upper, 45° strap, laces.
80 mm freeride wheels, 82A hardness, ABEC7 bearings.\nExtruded aluminium plate.
Thick foam liner with nylon and lycra interior.
Reinforcements: removable protections on the side of the foot.
What support do these freeride skates have?
The highcuff (the high plastic part) was developed with one goal: offering optimal foot support. To do so, it is molded with a mixed composite with 15% fibreglass.
And for (even more) support, the skates have 2 micrometric buckles and laces.
What is the impact protection?
Plastic pads on the forefoot protect the skate when sliding or in the event of a fall.
Are these skates versatile, or can they only be used for freeride?
In order to be versatile, these inline skates are equipped with 80 mm wheels and a very sturdy plate (to keep up with jumps and slides) of medium length to ensure a good glide performance.
Two different wheel sizes based on shoe size: 4 to 5.5: 76 mm / 6.5 to 12: 80 mm to guarantee that each one is very maneuverable.
The plate can be slightly moved to the left or the right for a more precise adjustment to your use.
What braking system do these freeride skates use?
Brakes are included.
They are also interchangeable: If you regularly switch wheels, you will even out the wear and prolong their lifespan.
Spare brake pads are available for purchase in the store or online.
The whole brake (pad + holder) is available at the workshop of your Decathlon store.
What is extruded aluminium?
Extrusion is a thermomechanical manufacturing process in which a compressed material is forced through a die (tool that shapes it into a fixed profile).
Since it has not been folded or cut, the extruded part (for this skate, the plate) is therefore more solid and shaped more precisely.
