To anyone nervous about the less positive reviews here, I think those people just didn't understand what they were buying. Its very clear in the description this is NOT a traditional yoga mat, its a cotton mat for quite specific use IN ADDITION to your rubber, cork, or PVC (yuck!) mat for normal practice. Great for slow stretching, shavasana, meditation, a little extra cosy comfort when doing ground or core work, or to roll up and use as additional support while kneeling or sitting etc. I have it to give an extra layer to my Liforme rubber mat and its the perfect combination. I haven't washed it yet, so don't know how it will hold up, hence 4 stars instead of 5, but I'm optimistic. And its organic cotton as well. Well done Decathlon!!
It's a carpet. The thread is hard making it difficult on the palms and knees (regardless of the type of yoga/exercise). It also slides a lot on any type of flooring (unless it's on a carpet). So you end up exercising on two carpets. Won't lie - slightly disappointed with the price I payed.

Looking for this type yoga mat! Atlast i found here in my favourite sports Store! I was in dilemma my seeing past reviews! But I have taken this by my trust in decathlon.. Not regular yoga mat as of for sure,,, but good warm mat .
Love this mat. I am not into Yoga (which is pseudoscience and religious). Using this mat as a rug. Similar flatwoven rugs from IKEA are incredibly expensive. This look elegant!

I am a regular user of Decathlon's product last five year. I am recommending everyone to buy product from Decathlon due high quality, safety and standard. I have brought this yoga mat from online store but I think this yoga mat not at all good quality, just like normal cotton carpet. First time , I am not satisfied with the decathlon's product. I am going to return this product.

I've been using it for 4 weeks now and it's very comfortable compared to other mats. Though it's slippery on tiles, it can be used for all other surfaces.
The kind of yoga I practise needs a full cotton mat. Probably this is the only one of that kind available in market. It gives a nice feel to the body which I don't get from my Reebok mat. For initial few days I had to struggle to not get it crumpled, but gradually I learnt the trick. Definitely this one is not for everyone. But those who really needs this cannot live without.

It's little slippery on polished tiles. May be good at ordinary floors.
