You surf intensively, and it is your favourite sport. During your sessions, you paddle out to the line-up, duck-dive under the breaking waves if you are on a shortboard, or turtle-roll if you are on a longboard. You show dedication in powerful waves of more than one metre. Your swimsuit must stay in place for each of your movements, whatever the strength of the wave. We have designed a range for you that is suited to your intensive surfing and body shape.

Whether you be a surfer or enjoy bathing in the sea, you don’t want to lose your swimsuit! This is why we test all our swimsuits in the waves. Each model is designed for surfing and perfectly suits other water sports: stand-up paddle boarding, sailing, kite surfing, bathing, etc.

Advanced surfers sometimes take on waves that have the power to pull off their swimsuits. That's why we designed the Rosa bikini bottoms. Its high waist fitted with wide elastic and its accentuating cut outs give it a secure fit while remaining feminine, and also protects your stomach from chafing and wax.

We design swimsuits that promise to stay in place in the waves. To test them, we use a panel of female surfers with different body shapes who will follow a test protocol in a pool at our design offices in Hendaye. This protocol aims to reproduce the sensations experienced by surfers when being thrown around by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we go surfing in the sea to test our swimwear in real conditions.

We strive to support women to ensure they feel comfortable in our swimwear. The chest is not squashed, the buttocks are not emphasised, coverage levels vary. Our mission is to ensure that every woman finds a swimming costume that suits her, whatever her body type or size.

To ensure a perfect fit in the water, it is important to choose the right size while you are dry because once they are in the water, swimsuits become looser. We therefore recommend you buy the correct size. The swimsuit needs to fit snugly against your body in the fitting room, you should feel supported. The elastane contained in certain components used in the design of our swimsuits softens and relaxes in the water.

From 2022, all women's swimsuits designed by Decathlon will be sold without plastic hygiene stickers. This responsible decision was made to help protect our planet and reduce plastic use. Based in Hendaye, in South West France, OLAIAN is Decathlon's new surfing and bodyboarding brand. In our offices at the water's edge, we can design a swimsuit and then on the same day test it directly in the sea to check it stays in place in the waves.

This product has been tested in use in Hendaye and has been subjected to numerous laboratory tests to guarantee the quality of use for which it was designed: tests on the fabric's stretch and stability, colour-fastness when rubbed, washed, exposed to sea water, chlorinated water and light, and tests on the product's overall performance after several washes.
