Perfect

Lightweight, durable, cheap & effective

Best gloves.

Got a few pairs of floves at Christmas. These are the best for keeping your hands warm. Even with the snowy weather, they were no problem at all. The size was perfect for me in not being too small. The comfortable size gave room to heat up. Didnt feel the wind. Highly recomend for hill walking.

Very light and compact

Very light gloves was ok. If you go Trekking you can take this and try and take a water proof one or water resistant help a lot or it feels like wet socks. I guess it depends on the season you go in. All in all it nice and comfortable and keeps it warm.

Composition

Main fabric

  • 100% Polyester cationic

Suitable clothing

The body produces heat during exercise that can be preserved through the thermal insulation of your clothes. If your clothing is unsuitable, the body will get colder and blood flow to the hands will drop in order to retain heat in the central core. Gloves and clothing must be fit for purpose to keep your hands comfortable. If you're unsure about size, it is always better to opt for a pair of hiking gloves that are slightly too big than too small.

Recommended temperature = 50°f

Corresponds to the ambient temperature at which 100% of testers felt comfortable. This is 50°F for these gloves.

Limit temperature rating = 41°f

Corresponds to the ambient temperature at which 90% of testers felt comfortable. This is 41°F for these gloves

How is the use temperature measured?

All our gloves are lab-tested on a thermal hand. Temperatures for use apply as long as you are walking and wearing suitable clothing. The active body produces heat, which is retained due to the insulation of the outfit. If your clothing is unsuitable, the body will get colder and blood flow to the hands will drop in order to retain heat in the central core. The recommended and limit temperature ratings have been established on the basis of 23 testers for temps from 41°F to -4°F and 6 mph winds

Dexterity of the glove

The dexterity of a glove is its ability to manipulate objects. Our gloves have been scored in the laboratory on a scale of 1 to 5. The closer the glove's dexterity is to 5, the more the glove can manipulate objects like the bare hand. In particular, we tested how easy it is to get a jacket on and open it while wearing the gloves.

Product testing

Our design team is based at the foot of the Mont-Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, our designers create and develop products that are attractive, simple and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field, because we believe that the only way to continuously improve our products is to test them under the real-life conditions that you will experience in use.
