Surprisingly well made and easy to carry. Recommended for short day trips.
It hasn't let me down for 3 years. With one ice battery, it can easily maintain the cold chain for up to 12 hours.

This is really well made and much better for holding temp than most inexpensive backpack coolers. It holds its form well also. My only complaint is it is larger than necessary. It will hold 2 1-liter bottles with a couple of sandwiches and snacks. But I'd rather have it a little too big than too small.

On the outside, you'll find a zipped pocket, separate from the cooler, so you can keep your belongings dry and avoid them coming into contact with food in the cooler (wallet, keys, map, camera, etc.).

Waterproofing
Important!This backpack is not watertight on the inside, in other words, the bottom of the bag does not keep water out. Sometimes condensation can build up inside the bag and some drops of water may seep through the seams. Don’t worry, this rarely happens and your food won’t get wet.
Tips to optimize the performance of your backpack cooler
To keep your food cold for longer, you can add ice packs to your bag.When packing your bag, we recommend that you put the food that needs to stay cold together at the bottom of the bag.
Product testing
The European standard EN 12546-2 certifies the performance of the cooler backpack without ice packs. To obtain this standard, tests are carried out by an external lab. These tests consist in placing water at a temperature of 41°F into the cooler, which itself is placed in an environment of 90°F. The idea is to then measure the time the water takes to reach a temperature of 59°F. The measured time for this backpack was 5 hours.
