I am very happy with the purchase - a great cape for my scooter, which I love to ride in any weather with a backpack on my back.
Unbeatable value for money!!! Dry despite very heavy rain. However, there is a little lack of ventilation on this poncho which would really be at the top.
Perfect ! Windproof, waterproof and wider in the back for the bag. I recommend !

Used for 3 days during a hiking trip with a backpack. Correct. Measuring 1.83m I would have liked it to be 5 to 7cm longer. She wets the pants below the knees. Small reflective and fluorescent colored inserts would really be a plus to be seen! I call on Decathlon engineers to make these small modifications to the product. Neon yellow hood for example. I recommend for the price and its waterproofness

Fit and sizing information
Good coverage for hikers between 5'1'' and 5'6'' in height (size S/M) or 5'7'' and 6'2'' (size L/XL) and carrying a 60L maximum backpack. Hood can be tightened thanks to elasticated draw cord and stopper toggle. The ends of the sleeves are cuffed with an elastic binding that prevents water from entering your sleeves. This rain cape is easy to get on and off thanks to its long front zip which slips easily over the head.
Additional recommended products
To complete your outfit, we recommend overtrousers or waterproof gaiters to fully protect your lower legs. For greater breathability, the waterproof hat can also be attached to the poncho!
Component waterproofing
We measure a fabric's resistance to water pressure, expressed in terms of the height of a water column in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. Components scoring 2000 mm can resist the pressure from 2000 mm of water (which is equivalent to a rain shower lasting two hours).
Waterproofing of the garment
This garment has been validated in a shower test under 15.8 gallons of water / m² / hour for 2 hours. This test reproduces the average conditions of a rain shower in the mountains.
Component breathability
Our rain poncho and cape ranges do not come with a waterproof/breathable membrane.Therefore, we recommend calm, gentle use to reduce perspiration rather than fast hiking!
Component water resistance
The water-repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, warm and breathable. The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment needs to be renewed throughout the lifetime of the garment (every 3 washes). All Quechua ponchos and capes have a water-repellent treatment.
