It is comfortable and fits me perfectly, good quality for the price. I added insole, now I can wear it all day long!
There's probably a good reason but the area around the ankle is tight. Other than that, once I manage to get my foot inside it's nice and comfy but it's also a hassle to pull out for the same reason

You were right, there is indeed a reason for the fact that the boots are tight at the ankle. The reason is that if they are too loose, you risk losing them easily and then for example, you could get your boots stuck in the mud.

Great value and quality. Comfortable and practical, they are easy to get on and they don't strangle your legs. They are small though, I got the next size up for me.
These wellies are really great value and are high quality we got a couple of pairs for the snow during lockdown , more than happy with these and I recommend

Chose these to replace my old Nokia bogtrotters. They are very good to walk in and comfortable to wear. Unfortunately I find them very tight to put on and take off as there is not enough gap at the turn in. Removing the boots is difficult for the same reason. They are so difficult to use I have now stopped to my old Dunlop’s.
You only get what you pay for, and in wellies always go for the single size, not L or upto size. These are far too narrow down the length and never got them on, thrown in the back of the cupboard

These are well made and very reasonable price.
Slightly narrow to put foot into but ok once foot in. So far so good for garden wear.
Good wellies, comfortable fit
I bought these boots for walking dogs when the grass is wet. The fit was good. The fact that they only came up to your calves meant that they were easy to put on and comfortable to wear. They have seen me through about 14 months of light use. On todays morning walk one of them split on the sole along the joint of the black and grey plastic meaning a wet foot. As I live in the south west over 200 miles away from where I bought them and didn't keep the receipt,I won't be exchanging them instore. However, if the sole was made out of one solid piece of pvc, they wouldn't have failed and leaked.
I am sorry that you have had a problem with your wellies, with the sole splitting. Also, thank you for your observations regarding the sole, I will pass this information on to the design team in France.

Cheap pair of waterproof boots for the early morning walk with the dog. Not the most fashionable but feet are dry! I went for a size up from normal and bought the inserts which makes them more comfortable.

The main characteristics of these ankle boots
The thermoplastic ankle boots we offer on this page are very easily washed (inside and out) with water and a soapy solution. They also dry quickly. Thanks to the mid-high shaft, the boot puller and slide-in grooves, this design allows you to slip them on and off in a matter of seconds. Furthermore, the sole, with non-slip lugs, is designed to reduce the risk of slipping on wet and muddy surfaces.

A specific sole is available for sale for this model (see Sole 100), which provides even more comfort, especially in winter.
