After calling the store to double check the 80KG would fit me and asking the obvious question regarding chest size I was assured that it would fit me, so I went ahead and ordered online as most places are out of stock.. the buoyancy aid is actually well made and if it fit me I would love to have kept it, however it’s being returned as does not fit. The reason for me post this review is to put the information that decathlon should have put from the get go. The Size chart which is printed inside on the tags so there’s no reason why this information could not have been add in the size chart, so people knew what they were buying. Size M / 40-60KG Chest 92-95cm 40 Newtons Size L / 60/80KG Chest 93-103cm 50 Newtons Size XL / 80+KG Chest 103-113cm 50 Newtons

Much better than any other at this price range.

I just received this In the post and tried it on. It is too big but apparently it is non returnable. Now I am stuck with a buoyancy aid that is too big for me. It should have been made more obvious on the page that you can’t return it. Complete muppetry …

Not used in anger yet, but the buoyancy aid appears to be well made. Only large and extra large in store. Large seemed OK, but no flexibility to tighten up. So I ordered a medium online. The medium gives more flexibility to wear without clothing (wishful thinking in this country) and with a wetsuit and jacket. I am about 170 cms and weigh about 64 kg chest 38 ish. Will give a longer try-on with suitable attire before returning one or giving smaller to my wife.

At last a B/A with plastic zip runners that will not corrode in salt water. Pockets are usable. A pocket for a Radio would be useful but those provided work.

I'm a 15 stone paddler using this buoyancy aid on canals, lakes and the sea. I've found it to be more than supportive when I've taken the plunge. The pockets allow for storage of phone, whistle, water and a small first aid kit with room for gels etc.

Great vest, my son loves it. Hydration bladder fits in the back, phone and snacks in the front

Make sure you try on. The XL needed some adjustment but it’s a great vest. Shame store only had XL and M would have been good to try other sizes.

This is a great garment. I needed a personal floatation device that wouldn’t break the bank and this one was a perfect choice. In use, it is unobtrusive when paddling, and is easy to put on and take off. The pockets and stowage points are well placed, plentiful and very useful. The added bonus is the 1ltr water bladder pocket in the back panel - genius!

Had been looking for a decent buoyancy aid for ages, spotted this on line and then in store, tried it on, fits well, has storage pockets on the front and hydration pocket on the back. Works a treat, comfortable to use and does what its been designed for.

good sized zip pockets and open ones with atcchment hoops for strings. not too bulky
