Question:
How do you attached the base piece to the board. Is it glued or have a peel back adhesive and can a regular person install this?
Answer:
The fin box needs to be glued to the SUP with a PVC glue, it doesn't have a peel back adhesive. It is not a difficult service but needs to be done respecting the glue instructions and tips to optimize the result.

If you give the x pvc glue together it would be the best
It should include a suitable glue or be adhesive. When placing products made for this rail on the guide, excessive force must be used to engage and disengage them. Time will tell if it's worth it. Could be improved.
This base has been adapted on a float tube in order to receive the Adhoc engine. simple and easy to install, I would have appreciated that this kit also contains the glue.

The patch is wider than the original therefore more solid. Too bad the glue is not provided. I changed it myself with PVC glue, it didn't move after 5 outings.
The version that comes separately, keel base and external fixation really works, this one doesn't.
They told me that it was to remove the old base and put the new one but it does not come self-adhesive nor does it come with any appropriate glue or glue for its replacement.
