Fantastic kayak. I’ve had it for a couple of years now, I've used it in coastal waters, rivers, and lakes. I’ve even taken it down small rapids/ white water. It’s sturdy and well thought out. Be careful when it’s deflated as it’s a bit more prone to scrapes etc.

Stable, durable and runs well.

Obviously, it doesn't glide like a rigid-walled or a "full drop-stitch" kayak, you have to pull the paddles a bit more if you want to keep up with them, but in return it fits in a backpack and you can take it with you anywhere. Its advantage over a completely "drop-stitch" or rigid-walled kayak is that, due to its stability, even an adult can climb in and out of the water anywhere on its side. In other words, it is ideal for a leisurely splash during a tour.

3-seater inflatable canoe

Good product, easy to use with the family.

ITIWIT 3 places

excellent kayak, stable and very maneuverable

Great kayak

We bought the 3-series ITIWIT kayak as an introduction to the world of paddling. A hard-shell kayak was out of the question for us due to space constraints. The inflatable version is ideal for us. On average, assembly and dismantling takes no longer than 10 minutes. We are paddling as a couple, but we still decided on the 3-person kayak so that we can easily take our food, etc. with us. If you are paddling with three people, you have to keep in mind that the kayak measures almost one meter at its widest point. You need a long paddle or arms. The kayak is very stable thanks to the 3 fins and we have not had any problems with any seams coming apart. We would buy again at any time.

I recommend it

Kayak Aka my bitch ^^

I purchased a used Itiwit 1/2 seater without a dropstitch floor. I bought it for fishing in the Baltic Sea, of course with appropriate life jackets etc., because safety first. At the beginning there were only short stretches very close to the shore, and I also took turns filming with my daughters. Tilting stable, running and steering behavior are great. I've been able to catch a few flatfish with the kayak on several trips, it's completely functional but it would be nice if there were a few attachments for anglers. I treat the kayak really remorsefully and it has now survived a number of tours in both salt and fresh water. After the tours, I rinse it roughly in the shower and lay it out to dry. Otherwise stuffed together again in the bag and in the basement.. I'm curious how long it will last? But so far I'm completely satisfied and it's all worth the money

Glue stitching departed during the first inflation ( wasn’t even on the 1 bar of pumping when the air was deposing out in the rim, poor quality and what’s worse the replacement procedure is terrible, poor communication and I’m sitting for 2 weeks now without a it being collected as promised

Huge lack of reliability.

For navigation no problem, on a large lake, at sea in light weather. Pleasant for hiking, often with 2 adults without looking for speed. (Too bad it is not approved for more than 300m, it is more than 350cm and 3 inflation bladders, but not approved by the Decathlon brand). Always rinse with fresh water, dries very well, vacuum between the side bladders to remove small stones. The problem, leak from the bottom High pressure in 2020, takeoff of a bladder on the right in 2023. Even 300m from the coast wear a life jacket See the reviews, a lot of problems, the same on canoes where the bladders are removable. According to a Decathlon salesman, one of the 2 manufacturing plants did the gluing incorrectly. Repair impossible, why? Another note: the side bladders inflate to 3psi and the discharge valves are calibrated to 3psi? Why are defective products not subject to a product recall since it is recognized? I hope that the new productions will be marked and spotted. THANKS

cool

used intensively for a week in Greece and Montenegro, and on Polish lakes. unreservedly. Damaged on the first day on sharp rocks - but it's not the kayak's fault. Repaired with patches available in the kit. used by 2 people + luggage - lots of space, super stable, you can go to/from the water on it. without any reservations.

Technical data and weight.

INFLATED SIZE Length: 13'4' Width: 36”FOLDED and BAGGED SIZE Height: 28.3” Width: 17.7” Thickness: 14.6”Weight: 39 lbsMaximum floor pressure: 0.34 bar (5 psi) Side tube and seat pressure: 0.2 bar (3 psi) Number of seats: 1 or 2 seats Contents: kayak, bag, repair kit, 3 fins, user guide, inflation connector, strap. PUMP NOT INCLUDED For use with an Itiwit double-action hand pump with adapters

Inflation tips and floor positioning

Connect the ITIWIT pump (sold separately) by twisting the pump adapter 1/4 turn and inflate the floor to 5 psi. Finish by screwing the cap back on.Put the floor inside the kayak and strap it at the ends. The floor valve must be aligned with the side tube valves located at the back of the kayak. The floor's position must allow free access to the drain plugs located in the middle of the kayak.

Side tube and seat inflation tips

Connect the ITIWIT pump (sold separately) by twisting the pump adapter 1/4 turn and inflate the side tubes to 3 psi. Finish by screwing the cap back on. Each side tube has a pressure relief valve. Its purpose is to evacuate excess air resulting from overinflation. When this happens, you may notice a hissing sound. This hissing is normal; it can happen during inflation or after prolonged exposure to sun. It will stop once the kayak reachesthe correct internal pressure

Seat comfort and positioning.

The seats are high, providing increased comfort for adults in the paddling position.Position the seats on the floor using the velcro areas located under the seat and on the floor.Stow any bags or equipment into the kayak's rear hatch or attach to the rear deck. The boat is ready to be launched.

Glide performance

Thanks to the rigidity of the dropstitch floor. ”Dropstitch” is a material. 2 layers of PVC are connected by thousands of polyester strands. When inflated to high pressure, these threads tighten and create a rigid volume, which prevents the kayak from loosing its shape.Which is what makes our inflatable kayak extremely rigid but easy to stow in a wheeled bag once deflated.

Care instructions

Remove the seats and slightly deflate the floor to make it easier to rinse out.Rinse the kayak, bottom, and seats with clean water after each use to avoid damage from sand, salt water, and sun.Open the drain plugs located in the middle of the kayak and at the rear. Tip the kayak to empty out the water.

Disassembly and folding

Make sure that the surface you intend to fold the kayak on is clean. Remove the fins.Deflate the side bladders. The valves are located at the back of the kayak. PLEASE NOTE: Do not unscrew the pressure relief valves at the front.Fold the floor.Fold the rest of the kayak in half lengthwise. Flatten the front fin base.Lay the rolled floor on the front end. Roll the kayak to the rear end.Strap the kayak.

Storage

Once dry and clean, the kayak should be stored in a dry and shady place, protected from significant temperature changes. The kayak can be stored folded, but if you have enough space, storing it flat and slightly inflated will extend its life.
