Product Customer Reviews

I was optimistic to try this out for my 11yo son since he is getting into hiking. He is currently in a size 4, so I checked the size chart and ordered him a 6. I was very disappointed to see when they arrived that his toe was already at the end of the shoe when he tried them on. I would have reordered a higher size but there were zero hiking shoes available in a size 7. Ended up having to buy from a local store.
The kids loved walking through the muddy tracks hiking in these shoes, no wet feet.
I could not find toddler hiking shoes anywhere in Australia. For 29$ , perhaps one of the best pair of shoes I ve bought for my 3 yr old. She loves jumping and wearing them. Will surely come back
Comfortable, waterproof, great price complains.

Good shoes for children very comfortable
My girls loved it
Great if you don’t want to spend too much on walking trainers. Took a while for the backs to soften, but comfortable now. I love the colour too.
Great value & not bad quality for the price! My daughter climbed a mountain
Excellent
Helped my kid in snow and hills
Excited price and excellent

Buying tips
Get your child to try on both shoes, standing up, with the socks worn for hiking. Try on several models or sizes if necessary. Check the following 2 areas of comfort: the heel seating and the front of the foot on a downward slope. Avoid any pressure points when fitting. It is a good idea to get your child to walk around the store. He or she should wear in the shoes gradually over a few hikes.
Which size should you choose?
For hiking, do not hesitate to choose 1 size above your usual size to ensure optimal comfort when going downhill and prevent your toes from hitting the front of the shoe. Advice: keep your toenails short and, before making your descent, check that your lacing prevents your foot from sliding toward the front of the boot.
Field tests
All of our shoes are tested for initial comfort and comfort during use, by users who represent the target market, and under the same conditions as you would encounter in use. Our Mission Tests bring together the product manager with people who are not affiliated with Quechua to test, develop and approve the products.
Lab tests
Further laboratory tests are also conducted to validate the following: secure attachment of eyelets and straps, gluing, toxicology, resistance to UV rays, abrasion of the sole and upper components, accelerated aging.

Product testing
Our design team is based at the foot of Mont-Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, we create and develop products that are attractive, simple and technologically advanced.
