Great for beginners or getting back into it

Great price on these and they have three different points for fit. I haven't roller-bladed in about a decade and was trying to get back into it without breaking the bank. These are perfect for that and I haven't discovered any issues with them.

Good value

Good recreational blades, a bit to flaxy but so far so good

Brilliant

I’ve skated in K2’s for years, which I love. I bought these inline skates for my daughter’s birthday. It’s hard to find equipment that’s good quality and will actually grow with them. These are BRILLIANT! Very smooth. Has improved her skating dramatically

Great skates/blades

My son loves these blades. Never off them. He says they are so much better than his old ones and that these make him go faster :) they are really well made and great quality. Totally recommend them also thought the price was really good too.

Excellent quality and smooth wheels

My son loves his rollerblades. He is 9 and I bought the size 35-38. He wears ASICS size 3-4 sport shoes and fits at the smallest adjustment (35) in these, so will be able to increase shoe length (to size 38) as he grows to get lots of use. The quality is fantastic - wheels are great quality and roll really well with ABEC 7 bearings. I would suggest these are for a child who already knows how to skate a bit because they roll very easily so could be too fast for a beginner. The other skate in the range for kids had ABEC 3 bearings and they would be easier to learn on.

Quality Skates

We've only used these a few times, but the boys really enjoy them and they look like solid, quality skates. Ended up with the same size for our six and nine year olds (our six year old has big feet)! Hopefully the adjustable sizing will mean they can keep hold of these for a couple of years at least. Looking to get myself a pair now so I can keep up with them!!

Good Skate for learners...

however skates simply placed in a shipping carton with no packaging... disappointing when you're giving as a gift. Shipment also took much longer than anticipated even during COVID. Skates themselves seem solid and great for beginner.

What safety precautions should you take?

We recommend all of them: helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and wrist guards. Because you never know which part of your body you're going to land on.

What is the maximum weight for these kids' skates?

Certified by the EN 13843 standard, class A (adult skates), for carrying up to 220 lbs.

4 sizes in 1 skate? here's how our skates grow.

Our product grows with you so you can enjoy your skates for more than 1 season. There are 3 steps to adjusting your skates: 1. Open lever. 2. Pull or push on the front of the boot. 3. Close the lever. To feel comfortable in your skates, choose a weight that's right for your physical abilities and a size that fits your feet: If your foot is sliding around inside the boot, you'll have trouble controlling your posture and direction.

Do you want to skate comfortably? introducing the fit 5 kids' skates.

Your feet stay dry as long as possible thanks to the airy mesh foam and the comfortable semi-stiff boot. Put your skates on easily using the simple, effective fasteners: a micrometric buckle on the top of the boot for more precision, a rip-tab strap on the instep to ensure the heel fits tightly into the boot, and classic or elasticated laces depending on the size. What about the weight? 5 lbs in kids' 1-3½, 5.4 lbs in kids' 3½-6/women's 5-7.5, and 5.8 lbs in women's 7-9.5/men's 6-8!

How do the fit 5 kids' skates let you skate and brake easily?

The Fit 5 skate's plate is what Laila, our product manager, likes best. The aluminum skate plate ensures an improved performance. The big 76 mm wheels (compatible to 80 mm in sizes kids' 3½ to women's 9.5/men's 8), combined with the ABEC 7 bearings, provide a smooth glide and more speed. Our skates are outfitted with a classic rubber brake that you can fit on either the right or the left foot. Spare stoppers are available in stores.

For wheels and brakes, oxelo opts for rubber!

Unlike plastic, which skids but doesn't brake, rubber provides good traction. This stops you from slipping when you push off, as well as helping you brake effectively. What's more, rubber also wears out less quickly than plastic. Our Oxelo teams work hard to keep you safe, however experienced you are. So we've chosen to equip all of our skates with wheels and brakes made out of rubber, not PVC.

How do you make your wheels last?

The wheels will wear out more quickly on some parts of your skates. So switch their positions around regularly. It's time to change them when they've worn down to the 1st of the 7 visible rings inside the wheel.

Do you want to repair or look after your skates?

You can get wheels of different sizes (including glow-in-the-dark ones), brakes, and compatible screws on our website and in your local Decathlon workshop. It's all easy to assemble. Don't forget to take a look at our tips and tutorials on our Oxelo YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/user/oxelo/videos
