These swimsuits are excellent in terms of being chlorine resistant. Some of the best I have used over the last 40 years! They do come up very small though so I suggest you go up at least one size maybe 2 when ordering. Decathlon was very fast at refunding for the one I didn’t keep. I’m still using my previous costume which is still good after 2 years of 3 x per week average swimming. Hoping my new one will last as long.
Very good value
Excellent but worth ordering a size up
bought this in sale and wore for first time last week - as with most chlorine resistant costumes, body of costume tight on first wear but straps even tighter and had difficulty getting it off when wet as the straps (made of different material) twisted making it even harder to get off. suggest buying at least one size larger than usual.

I think it's too short in the body as it's a struggle to get my arms in although I'm only 5'5", another thing to take back as the changing rooms are closed.
I had such a faff with this swimsuit,. I’m a size 12 and bought what the label claimed to be a 14 to be on the safe side. I couldn’t get It over my arms! when returning it I got the XL to make sure I’d fit and that had the same issue! Clearly there is some manufacturing error as none of them go over my arms and I do not fit into any size available of this swimsuit. I’m sure it’s great if you can actually wear it and I Love the colours, but clearly unless you are a size 8 or smaller you can’t wear this.
I’m 5ft 8 and a size 10-12, I purchased this suit in a size to reflect my size. Unfortunately it was too small in length. I exchanged for the next size up and unfortunately the costume still is a little too short to be fully comfortable. However, it’s a beautiful looking costume that I can recommend IF you can get a good fit.

It's excellent..
My first experience using a Decathlon swimsuit. I like the fit. The comfort is excellent especially considering I spend long hours in the water. I'll be happy if it lasts two seasons. I'm a lifeguard and professional swimmer. This swimwear is perfect for my needs.

Adjustments for the swimsuit

Aquaresist technology
Swimming products that have the Aquaresist label are guaranteed to be resistant to chlorine. There are laboratory tested and submerged in baths of chlorinated water for more than 200h. Throughout your swim, they will maintain their elasticity and are UV-resistant. For these reasons, our swimsuits that have the Aquaresist label are recommended for regular or intensive use in a swimming pool.
The material of the swimsuit
Our engineers have developed a polyester-based fabric and replaced the spandex fiber with elastolefin fiber, which is stretchy enough to provide user comfort but, more importantly, is unaffected by chlorine. This thread also has the advantage of quick drying. Another plus: Even the brightest of colors will retain their colorfastness.
Product testing
The products labeled with Aquaresist certification are tested under repeated cyclical loading in a pool of chlorinated water for 240 hours. No deterioration of elastic strength was observed throughout the test. Unlike a standard swimming product, the product remains intact.
