Looked promising, ultimately not fit for purpose

Initially when I purchased the goggles I was very happy with my purchase and looked forward to using them on the slopes. However after a few days of use I kept noticing the front S3 removable lens was popping out of place and dropping off the goggles. The lens is held in by four magnets, one at each corner, which secure small tabs on the lens to the goggles. It seemed for anything more than static use, these magnets were not sufficient to hold the removable lens in place. On the fourth day of my trip, the lens popped off on a chairlift never to be seen again; leaving me with only the S1 lens in place. Either the unit I purchased had defective magnets or the magnet clip design just simply isn't fit for purpose. Either way, if looking for interchangeable lensed goggles, I would recommend looking elsewhere for a fixing system with a mechanical link rather than solely a magnetic one.

Goggles for flat light

They did the job very well!

Uv protection

Because UV rays are bad for the eyes, all our goggles are certified 100% ANTI-UV by standard EN 174. Goggles are the best protection, they perfectly enclose the eyes, preventing UV entry and reverberation

Screen s1 and s3 - interchangeable screen function

The G520 I are skiing goggles with interchangeable screen for All weather use. S1 means a light screen that enables you to see better in bad weather by increasing visibility of relief. S3 is a dark screen that protects you from the light intensity from the sun.

Optimal anti-fogging

The "OPTIMAL" anti-fogging system is a ventilated double lens with a treatment on the inside and a ventilation system on the frame that makes air circulate inside the ski goggles. To provide good ventilation of the inside of the goggles these vents must not be blocked with a scarf, for example. Do not rub inner surface of lens but dab it carefully in order to preserve the anti-fogging treatment for as long as possible.

Ventilated dual lens

Goggles with dual lens to reduce condensation. Indeed, the air that is trapped between the 2 lenses creates a layer of thermal insulation. This reduces the thermal shock between the inside of the goggles and the outside, thereby delaying any condensation from forming on the inner lens of the goggles. To complement this, the inner lens is also given an anti-fogging treatment.

Spherical screen

Triple spherical screen, injected polycarbonate exterior that is very resistant to impact and acetate interior. Injected polycarbonate interchangeable lens.

Ski helmet compatibility

All Wed’ze ski goggles are designed for perfect compatibility with Wed’ze ski helmets.

Compatibility with prescription glasses

The G 520 I skiing goggles in size L can be worn with glasses (max width of 5.7"). The foam pads on the sides and the shape of the goggle padding enables the arms to pass through.

40 mm-wide Polyamide, Polyester and rubber elastic, non-slip silicone strap

Microfiber thermo-compressed case

Remember to protect the goggles and especially the screen from scratches, before and after use, using the microfiber case. This case also cleans the lenses, and the material is perfect for looking after them without causing scratches. The thermo-compressed case is ideal for storing your goggles and protecting them from crushing in your backpack while skiing.

Flash colored lens

Colored coating on the outside of the ski goggle lens (known as color Flash) to reduce the % of light transmission that gets to the eye, meaning less glare and more visual clarity in bright conditions

En 174 standard

The EN 174 standard is a European standard applicable to goggles used for eye protection when downhill skiing or similar activities such as snowboarding.

To avoid fogging

Moisture causes condensation. You must therefore make sure that the foam does not get soaked in water, e.g. by placing the goggles on a wet helmet or a hat. Falling face down in the snow can also cause your goggles to fog up. This is why, in all cases, you must dry your goggles properly overnight to eliminate all traces of moisture so you can set off the next day with completely dry goggles.

2 sizes

The size of the goggles depends on head circumference Up to size 21.7" choose size S (or formerly S/M); from 22" choose size L (or formerly L/XL)

Product testing

All Wed'ze products are tested in the real conditions of use for which they have been designed... Under the snow, in the cold, in all the conditions you can encounter when skiing. The design teams, product managers, engineers and pattern makers check that the program for which the product was designed and developed perfectly matches its use in the field.

Storage instructions

Store your goggles in the Wed'ze bag after use.
