First bike and it's great
The child loved the bike

The front brake system is very bad. I don't know why but the brake cable is coming apart from one of the brake system. In my opinion, it is a problematic and simple brake system. I plan to take it to the store as soon as possible.
We purchased this bike on recommendation/advice at the local Decathlon last year Feb 22. Stand and mudguards must be purchased separately. In itself, the bike is ok for the little ones, but the advice is useless and the condition upon delivery still has potential for improvement. The chain was under severe tension and the open, unprotected hub bearings were over-tightened. The bike rolled very badly. I then had to adjust it myself. Our son was 100cm tall and could hardly ride the bike because he was too small, it didn't get any better after 2 months and he didn't want to ride it either. The seller was still of the opinion that he "grows into it". Without further ado, a 14 inch variant was also bought by Decathlon (used) and with this it is a lot! coped better. Only this year with 115cm he could ride a bike normally. The sitting position is still very stretched, I've seen this with other children as well. Few of them look really happy. We now have a model from a well-known bicycle dealer, and then all the differences are even more noticeable. The 16-inch variant tries too hard to grow with it and unfortunately only fits very late. In contrast to the 14 inch version, I would recommend a different manufacturer for the 16 inch.
