The seat post diameter that the standard part fits seem limited It comes with a rubber spacer gasket. With it in, the mounting screw is too short, with the gasket out, the clamp ring is too loose. I had to grind off the teeth on the rubber gasket to match my seat post dia & fit a longer screw to give me the clamp range needed. Lucky I am a practical person to solve my fit issue, but many would not be
The rear mudguard fits to the seat post. But given the geometry of 24" kid's bike with the seat post set low, this isn't a great fit - the mudguard is angled steeply up from the seat postand doesn't catch as much mud from the rear wheel as i would expect. I'm not sure though what can be done and I could live with this as an improvement, noting that as the seat gets raised over the time, so will the mudguard. However, the front mudguard doesn't attach since the bolt is too short to fit through the hole in the top of the fork. This is just poor specification and design. Shame as the price is good.
Not to standard
Needed mud guards for sons bike riding to school. Wanted them to be minimal so still looking cool and these did the job brilliantly

This is the third time I am buying this mudguard because this is the only one available when I buy a kid’s bike online. It is easy to fit, however because of its linear design it will move when the child let go of his bike on the ground or put it back into the shed between the other bikes. I am having to tighten the screws every 2 weeks. It also need to be attached just under the saddle, so when the saddle is at its lower position one will not be able to fit a red light under the saddle. It does its job of preventing splashes very well, but to be honest if curved mudguards are not on backlog I would recommend to go for them instead.

I am using this for my RC500 and this really serves the purpose, and even during rain it completely stops all the dirt from getting on to seat post and dress. It's light weight and looks subtle on bike. If you are looking for a mudguard for your road cycle you can go for this one.

Minimizing splashes
This mudguard set protects young mountain bikers from splashes to the back, chest, and face. Naturally, when cycling in very wet and muddy conditions it's impossible to escape getting splashed at all (to the great joy of children!).
Assembly/removal
Easy to attach and remove! Only 1 5 mm Allen key is required to attach the mudguard at the front or rear.
