Product Customer Reviews

We already take the 3rd size of this type. Waterproof and durable.
I definitely recommend it. Overall, well made. Great sole + waterproofness

No problem for my son who wanted sturdy shoes for mid season! He really likes the grip and support. 6 years old, gas in the mud and on a mountain bike
Very good shoes, during the hike my 4 year old son did not complain. He loves his new shoes! Thank you decathlon!
My son is happy, he walked through the entire Karkonosze Mountains without complaining, even after a 20 km hike he was jumping for joy because it was a nice hike
Good value for money
Good product with excellent value for money. A flat concerning the impermeability of hiking shoes.
superb shoes, just a small flat, they tear next to the sole after 3-4 months, to review this point, otherwise I have only been taking these shoes for my son for 3 years! in the top
I note a little wide because my son has a very thin foot and with the scratch, it's still fine. I have been buying this product for several years. This year, small problem in terms of solidity because the plastic was a little damaged, two months after the purchase. It will be a bit difficult for them to last another two or three months. It must be said that he likes to put his foot on the other foot, almost the position of the pink flamingo and that must weaken his shoes. It's still a very good product though. To see if you could improve the glue of the fabric / plastic junction at the top front / side of the shoe? My son uses these shoes every day for all the activities of a little sportsman, mountain hiking included
Great shoes for walking in the mountains. Grip tested on smooth and damp surfaces (impeccable).
Very good shoes for children, flexible and rigid at the same time. Very robust.
Perfect shoes for hiking
Too bad for the colors that are too flashy and the lack of grip, but a good product overall
As usual your products are well balanced, between their qualities and their values thank you

Sole grip
The grip of our soles is certified. To be awarded certification, the boots must pass laboratory tests to assess the grip rate on different surfaces (Smooth, Rugged, Dry, Wet). To approve these tests, we then have the quality of our soles evaluated in the field, in the mountains, by a panel of kid testers.
Waterproofing test
Tested both in the lab and real-world usage, this footwear guarantees optimum waterproofing and breathability. To start, they are immersed in water with pressurized air inside to check that no bubbles form on the surface of the boot. Next, the boots are fitted to a mechanical arm that simulates walking, half immersed in water so we can test that the inside remains perfectly dry.For this model, the test lasted the equivalent of 5 miles in the conditions listed above.
Making waterproofing last longer
A boot's waterproofing is often undermined by water getting in from the top of the boot. So to keep your feet dry for longer, it's advisable to use a waterproof gaiter or mini-gaiter that will prevent water as well as pebbles, sand, etc. from getting inside through the top. It is advisable to use a waterproof spray several times a year. This restores the original water-repellent properties and prevents staining.
Buying tips
Allow kids to try on both boots, standing up, with the socks worn for hiking. Try on several styles and sizes if necessary. Check 2 comfort points: the base of the heel and the front part of the foot going down. Avoid all pressure points when trying them on. Don't hesitate to allow then to walk around the store. Gradually start using your boots during your 1st few hiking trips to break them in.
Which size should you select?
For hiking, do not hesitate to buy 1 size larger than the usual size to guarantee excellent comfort on the descent and to avoid toes rubbing at the tip of the boot. Tip: Keep your toenails short, and before going downhill at any time, check that your laces are tight enough to stop your feet slipping down toward the front of the boots.
Removable insole
Removable insole for faster drying. It can also be replaced by an orthopedic insole.
Our environmental approach
Because we are aware that we must act to preserve our playground, Quechua is committed to limiting the environmental impact of its products. Today, this product is not eco-designed, but we work every day to make it more responsible: Eco-design, repairability, and sustainability are at the heart of our developments.
Product testing
Our design team is based at the foot of Mont Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, we create and develop products that are beautiful, simple, and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field, as we remain convinced that only through rigorous testing under real world conditions, like the ones you will be using them in, can we continue to provide you with better products than ever.
