Product Customer Reviews

Great value for money
My daughter loved them. I bought them for her, for her brownies camp, and they were a success. Really comfortable and waterproof.
We bought these in green and blue, as the eldest loves florescent green and the younger one likes blue. Great boots for the great British weather. If only they could be a little light that would be even more amazing.
My son picked out these mountain shoes in store, he is obsessed with florescent green at the moment. He lives these boots, just what we need for the great British weather. If only they could be a little light that would be even more amazing.
Great for kids, our boy wear's them all the time
Good price for great product
Bought before, can’t again as they will be too small next year and as we will have to go to lace ups but we all love these as the boys can sort themselves out quite easily without ‘grown up’ help.
Second year I’ve got these for my boys! Love them, and they love being gable to put them on by themselves.
Waterproof and wear it anywhere no matter what weather. Good quality, but the size slightly small to the actual size.
my son brought them in season and will definitely buy more.

Excellent product
I've had 3 pairs of these for my growing boy over the years and each time he outgrows them, I get him a new pair as they are that good! Waterproof and comfortable and a great price too Would definitely recommend
Bought for 9yo for hiking holiday. No problems with fit or comfort on some challenging hikes. Would recommend (if they fit)
Bought for grandson, loves them, keep his feet warm and dry when out walking in Scotland, been up north walking in mud, puddles, proper dirt, his feet were still dry.

Sole grip
The grip of our soles is certified. To be awarded certification, the boots must pass laboratory tests to assess the grip rate (0.6 for this model) on different surfaces (smooth, rugged, dry, wet). To validate these tests, we also assess the quality of our soles on the field, in the mountains, by a panel of young testers.
Waterproofing test
Tested both in the lab and real-world usage, this footwear guarantees optimum waterproofing and breathability. To start, they are immersed in water with pressurized air inside to check that no bubbles form on the surface of the boot. Next, the boots are fitted to a mechanical arm that simulates walking and half immersed in water so we can test whether the inside remains perfectly dry. For this model, the test lasted the equivalent of 2.5 miles under the conditions mentioned above.
Making waterproofing last longer
A boot's waterproofing is often undermined by water getting in from the top of the boot. Using waterproof gaiters or mini gaiters is therefore recommended to keep your feet dry for longer by protecting the top part of your boots and prevent water from getting in as well as pebbles, sand, etc. Use of a re-waterproofing spray is recommended several times per year. This will help your boots recover their original water-repellent qualities and combat outer stains.
Which size should you select?
For hiking, do not hesitate to buy 1 size larger than the usual size to guarantee excellent comfort on the descent and to avoid toes rubbing at the tip of the boot. Tip: Keep your toenails short, and before going downhill at any time, check that your laces are tight enough to stop your feet from slipping down toward the front of the boots.
Buying tips
Allow kids to try on both boots, standing up, with the socks worn for hiking. Check 2 comfort points: the base of the heel and the front part of the foot going down. Avoid all pressure points when trying boots on. Gradually start using your boots during your 1st few hiking trips to break them in. You can find and print the pedometer and check the length of your kid's foot.
Removable insole
Removable insole for faster drying. It can also be replaced by an orthopedic insole.

Product testing
Our design team is based at the foot of Mont Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, we create and develop products that are beautiful, simple, and technologically advanced. We then test them ruthlessly in the field, because we believe that the only way to continually improve is to conduct tests in the real-life conditions that kids will experience.
