Picked up for my older one who's 9 when was out for school camp. He had used it all throughout his camping days (as it was raining) & thankfully these waterproof pants saved his track pants. Surprisingly, the stitches were all in tact & the pant was still in its original shape/size.

Nothing special but great to have in the back pack when hiking, and they come at a good price. My daughter used these to slide down snowy hiking trails and she was able to keep dry. Pants were durable.

Only wanted pants that fit me. As a 32 y.o. short (5f1) person, rain pants are hell, never come in short version. Had to buy the kids version. Just easy to put on when it rains while biking.
Perfect fit.
Great trousers, wash and dry really well. Son loves to wear them, they’re really comfortable. The only downside is that they don’t pull in at the waist like the hiking trousers, but they do come with a belt so that can pull it in.

Do exactly as required
I bought these kids waterproof trousers for myself as I am of small stature. I walk my dog everyday and use these trousers regularly; also during the cold spell as an extra layer to keep warm. They have been very good and have kept the rain off my legs. I bought two pairs in anticipation of them being good, and I am glad I did.
Fit well and do the job and keeps me dry when getting wet
wore it for a week with the Quecha hiking boots and the the seam broke with a big hole. When I kneel on moist mud, i feel my leggings underneath are wet. It's cheap in price but the durability is disapointing.

This garment has been validated in a shower test under 60 L of water / sqm / hour for 2 hours. This test reproduces the average conditions of a rain shower in the mountains. A component with a 2000 mm waterproof rating is therefore resistant to the pressure exerted by a 2000 mm column of water (which roughly corresponds to a 2-hour downpour). The waterproof rating is expressed in Schmerbers (for example: 2,000 Schmerbers).
Component breathability
To find out whether a fabric is breathable, we test its evaporative resistance or RET (based on the ISO 11092 standard). The lower the fabric's resistance, the more water vapor generated by physical activity can escape and the higher the fabric's breathability. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric / 9 < RET < 12 = very breathable fabric / 12 < RET < 20 = breathable fabric / RET > 20 = little or no breathability.
Water-repellency of the component
The water-repellent property of a fabric is its ability to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from absorbing water so that it stays lightweight, breathable and warm. The water-repellent property is obtained by applying a treatment to the outer surface of the fabric. This treatment needs to be renewed during the lifetime of the garment (we recommend every 3 washes). All Quechua’s waterproof jackets receive a water-repellent treatment.
