I am sorry to hear that your son had blister after the first time wearing. Hope he is doing fine now. What i can suggest is to maybe give the shoes slightly longer wearing time to allow it to "season" hence making it more comfortable to wear.
Or an alternative way is to either have your son to wear socks that are high or slightly above the ankle so as to be able to protect his feet from rubbing against the shoes. Hope this would help. (:

I found these shoes ok but pretty much the same as my old ones except they were easier to put on!

My child has only been using these for about three months and the synthetic upper is already cracking and peeling away from the inner fabric of the shoe. The trainers were not expensive, but I like products to last longer than just a few months. It's a shame, because otherwise my child really loved the look and feel of these shoes.
The looks & the feel is just perfect.
My 8rd old noticed the difference over her usual trainers - more comfortable. She loves them.
