I have 4 pairs of decathlon baggy trail running shorts (£19.99) and they are excellent but no longer available online. Last week I bought a pair of these more expensive lightweight trail shorts and they are a far inferior product,. The inner shorts are very flimsy and I I have to wear compression under the shorts to get any support. unlike the cheaper baggy shorts, the front pocket on the £30 shorts is too small to hold a mobile phone and these lack the useful side pockets which are great for carrying a small water bottle, gloves or buff. In short these shorts are a massive disappointment and I won’t be buying again.

I can see that you are not satisfied with the new running short,but the difference from the one that you had before and the new one is that the new one is designed for performance trail runner who doesn't need that amount of storage (pockets,side pockets etc.) and they are seeking for lightweight and more technical product.
If you want you can return your item in the nearest store or online for a full refund or you can exchange them for any other product.

Comfortable running shorts with large rear pocket.
The material is really thin and nice, perfect for hot runs or wicking. I can fit my large phone (Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus) with case in the back zip pocket and the front net pouch. I picked up a small which normal for me but the shorts are tight on the thigh (59cm) if you have bigger legs, may need to size up. Despite being tight, I have a full range of movement in these - enough to do yoga. I'm so impressed I'll probably pick up another pair. Another colour would be welcome- dark navy or khaki or something timeless/ easy to match.
Hi, I looked everywhere for a pair of running shorts with multiple pockets to run this year's London Marathon, and now I've found them. I am a 34" waist and size L is a perfect fit. I wore them on a 16.5 mile training run and they were excellent. They will be my shorts of choice. I hope that helps.

I bought this product for urban running. I found its rear pocket size is sufficient for bigger smartphones, while the smaller open at the front is suitable for keys and cash. The fabric is very thin and light, also soft to the touch and feels much expensive than its price tag. I'd rather use these shorts alone without other belt or vest on shorter distance trail running (up to 10k or 2 hours). Since its storage alone is too limited for longer distance in the woods.

Pas se muze zdat pri prvnim obleceni tesnejsi, ale za me je to idealni konstrukce pro udrzeni stabilniho nakladu v kapsach. Za me idealni reseni. Bohuzel kapsy maji zipy, ktere kratasy zbytecne komplikuji a je obtiznejsi neco z kapes dostat. Drive by mi takove reseni prislo nejlepsi, ale po zkusenostmi se Salomon Sense Shorts, kde muzu mit v kapsach klice, mobil, 250ml flasticku nebo gely a nikdy mi zip nechybi, bych byl radsi za reseni bez zipu. Kdyby byla vnitrni vlozka pruznejsi, bylo by to pocitove malicko lepsi, ale ani s tou soucasnou nemam problemy.
Meine Lieblingslaufhose (Vormodell). Super Taschenlösung, Iphone 13 Pro kompatibel, Super Tragekomfort (besser als meine 3 mal so teure Dyna...-Hose. Preis-Leistung perfekt. Hab mir das neue Modell bestellt, hat leider der Kordelzug am Bund gefehlt ? Auch hat das neue Modell leiuder nicht dioe zwei seitlichen kleinen Netztaschen. Ich trage die Hose im Training und im Rennen von kurzen Bergläufen bis zum Ultra....
Die Shorts passt bei mir perfekt. Taschen vorn für Schlüssel, hinten für Smart phone vorhanden. Der verstärkte Bund gibt Halt auch bei Beladung. Luftig, eher für warmes Wetter.
