Fir cold weather not used yet but when I put it on it was perfect. Really impressed with my ourchsse
I ordered this because I wanted a top with some water resistance for light rain in the winter so I didn’t need full waterproofs. Thought this would be idea until I got it and realised the whole back was different thin open mesh. I don’t know about other runners but my back still gets wet and cold on a rainy day in winter just like the rest of me. Why do apparel manufacturers think that a runners back is impervious to the elements, mine certainly isn’t. I know it mentions breathable panels but it’s the whole back. I’ve given it 3 stars as there may be some hard as nails elite who will out run any wind but I and most of your shoppers are not that person. This is just to to outline the issue. If it was all the standard material would probably give it 5stars. I have got a lot of Decathlon gear and this is the only one I’m sending back, and the most expensive. Remember most people need to size up for Decathlon apparel I’m a small for Nike, New Balance, ASICS ect but medium for decathlon.

Good for running but it is bigger size
Ideal to wear as a mid layer under my motorcycle jackets
It’s a good top, could be great with a mesh/netting lining. It stops the wind well pockets are perfect size. Not too big that you fill them but big enough for what you need. The main body material is a little sticky if used without an inner layer. A netting inside would be great. I would however buy again so gets 4*s from me.
This top is good and makes a big difference when running in winter. Not sure why they didn't put insulation on the arms. Also, the watch opening is a bit of a waste of time in my opinion as it's too high up the arm for me and you can easy pull the sleeve up a little anyway. Some like it though.
This is excellent. Nice and lightweight. Comfortable fit. Not too "hot", yet keeps the breeze at bay.
Great quality layer for running and trails. I had to buy a large as only size in stock and i could really have done with a medium, possible a small. The watch hole is a great idea but doesn't work unless you have a chunky watch: it slides down too easily, although maybe a smaller size may work for me. Chest pocket a shade small, rear pocket a shade large: chest needs to be a cm or two taller to fit an energy gel in from some brands. The rear pocket is too big to put a phone in it without a huge amount of bounce: chest too small to fit a modern phone in. That said, it's only £35 and water/windproofing is great. The criticisms are tiny niggles, easy to work around and not deal breakers.
Size wise, I'm 5'3" and 54kg in weight and the smallest size is a brillant fit. Love the feel of the top and its lovely to run in. Was about 7 deg C today, had a training top underneath and got a little sweaty (zip fully open) but nothing major - my run was also quite hilly. Looking forward to many miles in this top!
very ggod went to a run on 6 degrees Celsius very good, the last star is missing because the moisture wicking still have room from improvement. great top for cold days anyway.

The soft shell is NOT complete without a hoodie. Nope it isn't. Kindly research and learn from Marmot's Ether DriClime Hoody that sells twice the amount than the normal one just because the soft shell has a proper hoodie to fight the elements.

Our windproof component was specifically arranged on the midsection, chest, and shoulders since these areas are the most exposed during races. Free of drafts, you can focus on your stride, the scenery, and your sensations.Ideal for winter trail runs, you can run in temperatures between 23 and 59°F by wearing a 2nd skin layer (seamless, long sleeves) underneath!
A long sleeve t-shirt underneath is enough to keep you warm.
Cyrille, the Evadict Trail product manager, gives advice on how to wear the softshell top: ”some people tend to pile on the layers out of fear of being cold and their trail run quickly becomes unpleasant since they get too hot. With the softshell top, wearing a 2nd skin layer underneath is enough for optimal comfort and to keep you at the right temperature at all times.”
Ventilation? you control it.
You can easily adjust the circulating air using the long 2-way central zipper. Need to protect your neck from the cold, while staying ventilated? Open the bottom of the zipper, close the top, and take on that ascent. The ventilation zones at the armpits, arms, and back allow you to wick away perspiration and stay dry throughout your trail run.
Watch opening to avoid exposure to cold.
An opening on the left sleeve of the jacket allows you to look at your watch without lifting the sleeve when it's cold.

A fold-away pocket to store the top in your bag.
The top has 2 main pockets. The 1st one is on the chest and is for light objects. The 2nd one is larger for storing your hat and gloves. You can pack your top into the large pocket so that it doesn't take up too much space in your bag.
