DO NOT BUY

Sizing is all weird, you have to almost dislocate your arm to get into it! Considering I’m a 22 year old size 12 women I couldn’t get it past my shoulder! Should be a back zip. Honestly don’t buy it

Great wetsuit/swimsuit for price point.

I ordered both a M & L - however there was a bit difference in their sizing. Could not get the M over my legs - but the L is a bit big in back.

I couldn't get out of it!!!

I am not joking, I got into it with a bit of light lunging and dislocation of the shoulders and it looked great but geeeeeee getting it off is another thing. I darent go near it now.

Tiny and impossible to get out of

This came up very small and is a clear lesson in why wetsuits generally have the zip up the back; it is so much easier to pull something off your shoulders from the back to the front that it is the other way round. I managed to get this on, but very, very nearly had to resort to cutting myself out of it with a pair of scissors. The sizing is wrong and the zip either needs to be at the back, or go a lot further down.

Can’t get it on

This appeared to be exactly what I was looking for. But it is impossible to put on unless you dislocate both shoulders. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing

Terrible

I just can’t get my arms into this. The zip doesn’t go down far enough. I’m gutted as it looked just what I needed. But i just can’t get it on.

Got stuck...

Wetsuit is great. Good fit, links nice. But when it comes to taking it off, well, have someone on hand to help! The zip is so short that it's practically impossible to be able to pull the suit off your shoulders yourself. If the zip was another couple of inches longer, this wetsuit would be perfect.

Zip too short!

The zip at the front is way too short. Impossible to get into. The actual suit was the right size, so there'd be not point in ordering a larger size in order to get it on....

Sizing completely wrong!!

There’s actually no way of getting your arms in and up over your shoulders because of the restriction of the short zip. I bought a size medium and as I’m 5’3 and 9.5st this should have easily fitted me.

Could not get it on!

This would be perfect if the zip was longer. It's made really badly and now it's going to cost me to send it back. I should've read the reviews first...very disappointed.

zip is too short

really, realy hard to get in and out of. sucha pity as when I did get it on me, once, it was perfect.

Great addition for sea swimming

I love this! It fits comfotably and I am a size 10-12, I purchased a Medium. It is fairly hard to get on, but not impossible. Kept my upper body warm.

Additional Product Information

Composition

Foam: 100.0% Rubber - Chloroprene - Neoprene ; Main fabric: 100.0% Polyester cationic ; Secondary lining: 86.0% Polyamide, 14.0% Spandex

You are an intermediate surfer

You regularly go surfing. During your sessions, you paddle out to the lineup, duck dive under the breaking waves if you are on a shortboard, or turtle roll if you are on a longboard, then surf waves of less than 40”. You often fall and are used to being shaken about underwater. We have designed a range for you that is suited to your regular practice and your body shape.

How to choose the right wetsuit? (part 1)

The first selection criterion when choosing a surfing wetsuit is the water temperature.Water temperature varies according to the location and the time of the year.Systematically make sure that the water temperature at your spot corresponds to the recommended temperature range:Warm water above 68°F.Temperate water between 62 and 72°F.Cold water between 53 and 62°F.Very cold water between 45 and 54°F.Visit the site seatemperature.org to find out the temperature of your spot.

How to choose the right wetsuit? (part 2)

The 2nd criterion to take into account is the length of your sessions. If your sessions last less than an hour, the 100 models will be suitable. For up to 2 hours, opt for the 500 models and for up to 3 hours, the 900 models. Compared to the 100 models, the 500 models will be warmer (and more watertight) and more efficient at reducing fatigue (more freedom of movement) and irritation. The same is true for the 900 models compared with the 500 models. NB: the 900 models are easier to put on.

Choose the right size

To make the most of the features of your wetsuit, it is necessary to choose the correct size. A surfing wetsuit should be a very tight fit and there should be no visible folds. When dry, it is perfectly normal to feel like it is too tight, this discomfort disappears as soon as the wetsuit gets wet. If you choose a wetsuit that is too big, folds will appear, you will experience irritation and thermal insulation will be reduced (letting in water).Try it on before you buy it!

Fastening

Our zippers and fastenings are laboratory-tested in order to ensure an optimal lifespan and good resistance to salt water. We have put the zipper at the back of the wetsuit for more comfort during surf sports (when lying down to paddle).

Stay warm for longer thanks to our thermal accessories!each temperature range has its own outfit...

When we are in the water, we lose more than half of our body heat through our extremities (feet, hands, head). Consequently, here are the recommended accessories: - in warm water and temperate water (>63°F) => neoprene low booties.- in cold water (54 - 63°F): High booties (boots) and gloves.- in very cold water (44 - 54°F): High booties (boots), gloves, hood and hooded top ...Find our entire range of neoprene accessories at decathlon.fr
