Wed'ze helmets and goggles are designed to form an integrated whole.

The adjustment dial plays a key role in ensuring that your helmet does not come off. This system enables easy and precise adjustment at any time using the easily accessible dial that you can even use with skiing gloves. It gives you comfort of use and maximum safety. Turn the dial to the right to tighten and to the left to loosen.

This type of construction, known as In-Mold, features a polycarbonate outer shell that is molded directly to the EPS liner. The inner EPS lining absorbs the shock during impact. The whole thing is very lightweight. We recommend changing your ski helmet at least every 5 years unless it has sustained a significant impact in the meantime.

EN 1077 is a European standard that applies to helmets used for cranial protection during downhill skiing and snowboarding. This standard tests the ability to absorb shocks and resistance to penetration. There are 2 categories: - Class A: Protects the top and back of the head as well as the ears and the side of the head .- Class B: Protects the top and back of the head, but does not cover the ears.

* Measure your head circumference in centimeters (around the middle of the forehead and just above the ears). * Then choose the size that covers this measurement. Example: if the circumference of your head is 22", try a 21.7" - 23.2" size helmet.

Take plenty of time to try it on properly. It shouldn't bother you in any way. If it does, try another model. Always try on your helmet with your goggles, because not all helmets go with all goggles. A helmet is compatible with ski goggles when there is no air space between the top of the goggles and the helmet.

During practice, the ski helmet must be properly fitted and adjusted: * It is essential to choose the right size. * The head circumference must be adjusted using the thumb wheel. * The chinstrap must be properly adjusted. It's a bit like the seat belt in a car: if it is too loose, it will not perform its function and you won't be as well protected.

Avoid wearing a thick hat under your helmet as this will move your helmet away from your head and you will be less well protected. Opt instead for a very thin beanie or balaclava that does not affect your safety. A helmet has good insulating properties. There is often no point in adding anything else. Also, avoid adding a camera to your helmet as this can affect safety. The standard does not take into account any elements added to the helmet.

Ski helmets have a PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) classification. They cannot be exchanged. A ski helmet complies with a standard. We cannot guarantee that the helmet purchased has not sustained an impact and therefore still complies with the standard.

All Wedze products are tested under the actual conditions of use for which they were designed: in snow, cold weather and all conditions that you may encounter when skiing. The design teams, product managers, engineers and pattern makers check that the program for which the product was designed and developed perfectly matches its use in the field.

Do not store the helmet in a damp place, close to a source of heat or near UV rays. Dry thoroughly before storing, preferably in a fabric helmet bag.
