Absolute water proof and tough
Best trekking jacket
Cheap goes through any raincoat in heavy rain nothing to say negatives at the top
It's my favorite jacket, but the size XL is too big for me. I'm 192 cm and 80 kg
The jacket is absolutely waterproof and warm - I wear it every day. - It could have more inner pockets - but for the price. Everyone should have this jacket.

I have been using the same model since 2010. I have used it everywhere from the cold of London to the snow of the mountain. It protects both from cold and rain very well, but the product I bought last year was a complete disappointment. I have been freezing in cold weather for years, in short, I do not think that the part up to 0 C stated in the description of the product is correct. I think it should be up to 12-15 C. When I wrote the situation to the customer service, it did not take a long time, then I was informed that I had to contact the store. He refused my request for an exchange with a polarized product. He only offered to return and refund the price. By the way, in the new season, where the price difference was 3 times, I expected a more logical and constructive solution from dechatlon customer service. Both the product and the service I received from customer service were disappointing.
Not suitable for 5 deg or less winter, the 3 in 1 feature is amazing, the inner layer is very good, and you can also easily slide it over anything. There are enough pockets for everything.

Good 3 season jacket, and versatile enough to adapt to the vagaries of the weather. A thermal layer underneath also makes it possible to face low temperatures. A downside, however, on the zip which, as the jacket goes down low, deserves a double zipper to be able to open at the bottom in public transport, and not to force it. The idea of the reflective straps on the back of the sleeve clamps is excellent, and I would need to find a trick to clip them on without twisting them, but that's a detail.

You can use it as both a raincoat and a winter coat. The sleeve ends are a little wide, but I don't mind. While the equivalents were 3 thousand TL, I bought them for 465 TL. It is definitely a coat as nice as the known brands.

Reflective parts
We have added reflective tabs on the cuffs. WARNING, these parts are not standardized, they are not PPE (PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT) and therefore do not guarantee safety or protection.When you want, you can turn the tightening tab around the wrist as necessary to uncover the reflective zones.
Abrasion resistance
We carry out laboratory tests on our fabrics, according to different criteria: Resistance to abrasion, to mimic the rubbing of backpack straps. We carry out a standardized Martindale rub test, during which the jacket's fabric is rubbed against another fabric. The aim is to control the wear limits of the fabric and when pilling begins. The jacket passes the test easily as it reaches 20,000 cycles on the Martindale, above the average for other jackets on the market.
Resistance to tearing
The jacket has also been subjected to single rip tearing tests. The aim is to mimic in a laboratory the effect of your jacket snagging on something outdoors and being ripped. Through this test protocol, we check that once it is ripped, the fabric does not continue to tear and still protects you for years to come.

The jacket linings are DOPE DYED: this means that the dyeing process is done in bulk before the thread is spun. It reduces the environmental impact, particularly water consumption. The usual dyeing process uses a lot of water, and by using this technique we avoid overuse.In addition, the net inner fabric called “mesh” is made from recycled polyester to reduce the environmental impact.
Product testing
We have tested this jacket in England, during a week-long backpacking hike. A group of independent testers walked in the shoes of our real backpacker users to test, improve, and approve the TRAVEL 100 3-in-1 jacket. It has therefore been designed and validated in the field in real backpacking conditions: walking, youth hostels, public transport, picnics. It has experienced everything and survived!
