Product Customer Reviews
NICE BOARD TO ENJOY FREESTYLE ON THE SLOPE AND ALSO ON SMALL KICKERS.
Bastante comoda, rapida y manejable
Buenas sensaciones ,buen agarre
Bien
super surf reactif ,ludique

What size of endzone park & ride should i choose?
For Freestyle use, you can take a short board: choose a 8" or 10" drop (e.g. a person who is 5'9" tall should choose a board between 61" and 59" in length). A smaller board makes rotations and tricks easier. A bigger board will be more stable at high speed and when landing jumps. The Park & Ride should be quite short. The size 158 Wide is very well-suited to well-built users. 59.8" => 5'6" to 5'10" 60.2" WIDE => 5'6" to 5'10" 62.2" WIDE => 5'10" to 6'3" (min 185 lbs)

If only one was needed...
Program/terrain
The Park & Ride is true to its name, it's as good in parks as on- and off-piste. In the snow park, it is particularly suitable for jumps (tables) and inspires confidence on landing. Its standard camber gives it pop for jumps and stability at full speed. The rocker offers manageability, as well as buoyancy in case of powdery snow. Its Powder Stance makes it enjoyable in the powder snow in the same way as if you were using a freeride board.
Directional twintip snowboard
It is a Twin Tip shaped snowboard. The sidecuts of the board are completely symmetrical between the front and the back, providing perfect symmetry and centering of the board's characteristics so that you can ride in both directions in the same way. In order to offer even greater versatility, the 20 mm inserts are offset, making the Park & Ride, a "false" twintip, just directional enough to ride without interfering with others in the snow park.
Standard camber + rocker
We have retained all the benefits of a standard camber (thanks to the flexibility of the board, a standard camber acts like a spring to provide edge grip on all types of snow, quick edge-to-edge transitions and acceleration on exiting turns) and added those of the rocker (reduced stresses, the contact points of the board on the snow are closer together making the board more manageable). The rocker elongates and raises the nose so that it can glide better over powder.
All-round medium flex (3/5)
The flex is the stiffness of the board along its length. The flex of the Park & Ride is about 3/5, which is average and versatile. It is reliable in carved turns while also being forgiving of edge mistakes.
Medium and versatile torsion
The torsion, i.e. the torsional stiffness of the board between the feet, is about 3/5 on the Park & Ride 500, which is fairly stiff for good hold in the curves, recovery coming out of a turn and responsive edge transition. It is also flexible enough for some freestyle riding. It's the medium torsional stiffness that gives the Park & Ride good all-round handling without making it a jib board.
20 mm setback
The setback is when the board's compression points with the snow are not symmetrical in relation to the center of the board, but set back toward the rear. The bindings are also set back toward the rear by the same distance. 20 mm setback = given that the setback is very slight, it is an all-round board that is almost centered for riding in both directions but also to provide balance when rotating in the air and on piste.
Recommended bindings
With the Endzone 500 binding, the board + binding combination delivers consistency and a matching design.
When should you wax your snowboard?
Wed'ze boards are supplied already waxed. They then require regular maintenance like all snowboards and skis: ideally requires waxing every 5 outings and at least once a year: - at the beginning of the season to start with a very good glide - at the end of the season so that the wax protects the sole all summer long
Glide quality: sintered sole
The bases are made of polyethylene using 2 different technical processes: - extruded base, with a certain density of polyethylene - a sintered base, with a higher density of polyethylene (fewer holes, more PE) A sintered base is the Rolls-Royce of bases. The glide is really fantastic.
What is the wide in snowboarding?
A "Wide" board is a board that is wider than average so that "big" feet do not dig in the snow when turning at a steep angle, causing you to fall. It also increases floatation in powder snow. From size 10½, it is advisable to take a "Wide" board. We measure the "Wide" by the width of the board at the center. At Decathlon, we defined: - up to 10": normal board - 10" to 10.4": Mid Wide - from 10.4": Wide
