Product Customer Reviews

I received the board in the post today - not as yet had an opportunity to ride the board, but will update the review once I have. The only issue that I’m having (I can’t rule out human error) the inner screw on the anckle bindings are damaging my snowboard boots. They have been marked up on both sides of each boot through the leather.
I'm 1.88 tall, weigh just under 100KG and have size 47 feet. A board that works on both a groomed piste and on powder that can keep my feet out of the snow was what I wanted -- the Bullwhip 500 168W works for me. It kept me afloat in some pretty deep snow, but handled a hard piste well without the flapping of a true rocker such as a K2 Gyrator in the same size. I personally didn't find the bindings suited me -- I swapped them for an old Union set that gave me more lift and edge control. This board seems a good all-rounder that doesn't require any major compromise for a free-rider. The design is low-key and looks good to my eyes. Decathlon should consider selling the board on its own -- the large footed will likely want a little more lift in deep snow than the supplied bindings provide. After six-days in a range of conditions in the Italian Alps I am pleased with the board -- great value and an intelligent piece of design.
Pri vyssi rychlosti take pekne drzelo.
Sehr gut

A word from the product manager
We wanted to create a versatile board for people not attracted to the park. This board is suitable for easy use not only on-piste but also off-piste. And enjoyable! The prototype was developed 100% at our Mountain Store design center in Passy, Haute-Savoie, and tested at the ski stations near our offices throughout the development process.
Program/terrain
The All Road is "THE" all-mountain board par excellence: 50% piste, 50% off-piste. You can go anywhere, on all types of snow, on-piste, off-piste and on powder, as well as on crusted snow thanks to its elongated front tip, made thinner to catch less in this type of snow. This is why the nose has this particular shape. Do not use in parks,: it is not intended for use on modules or for riding backwards.
Directional snowboard
The shape of the board is directional, i.e. the board has a nose and tail. It is not symmetric, the tail of the board is slightly narrower than the nose, and the bindings as well as the board's contact points on the snow are slightly set back. A directional shape offers better grip when cornering, better trajectory management and better recovery when exiting a turn.
Standard camber + rocker
All the advantages of both the standard camber (thanks to the board's elasticity, a standard camber serves as a spring to provide grip on all types of snow, edge-to-edge dynamism and recoil when coming out of turns) and the rocker (under constraints, the board's points of contact with the snow come closer together, making the board more manageable). The rocker elongates and raises the nose, allowing it to glide better over powder
Medium, versatile flex
The All Road's flex, i.e. the stiffness of the board between the front and rear, is about 3/5, which is average and versatile. It offers predictable handling when cutting corners and is forgiving of edge mistakes.
Versatile and medium torsion
The torsion, i.e. the torsional stiffness of the board between the feet, is about 3/5, which is fairly stiff for good hold in the curves, recovery coming out of a turn and responsive edge transition. This makes the All Road suitable for advanced to expert levels, while remaining very accessible.
Setback 25 mm
The setback is when the board's compression points with the snow are not symmetrical in relation to the center of the board, but set back towards the rear. The bindings are also set back towards the rear by the same distance. 25 mm setback: significant setback for a directional board. It provides better grip in turns and flexibility in powder snow because the weight is on the tail of the board which naturally raises the nose.
Technical information
front width 297 mm. Center 260 mm. Rear 289 mm (size 163 cm). Radius 9.0 m. Effective edge 1,042 mm. No. of inserts: 8 + 8 (3 possible positions per binding/40 mm between each). Recommended stance: 530 mm.
Extruded base and high-quality glide
Extruded base (manufacturing process that is different from sintered bases): - provides a normal glide and good durability over time, - requires regular maintenance: ideally, wax after every 5 outings and at least once a year, - either at the beginning of the season to start with a very good glide, - or at the end of the season to nourish the base in depth, leaving it on to protect it throughout the summer. Ideally with the bindings pointing downwards.
Sold as a pack with illusion 500 bindings and piste/off-piste type highback
It is an Illusion 700, without the full EVA pad. It has: - 3D foam ankle strap that hugs the shoe, offering perfect support. The foam provides a tight fastening and keeps feet extremely comfortable. - front strap in cap strap (position only on the toes) for incredible comfort and support. - easy Turn Strap opening system so that the strap does not get caught at the opening of the shoe. 158 cm, 163 cm, 168 cm, size L: 8 to 13.5.
What's the right size all road for me?
With All Mountain, you can choose -15 or -20 cm (e.g., someone measuring 1m74, can use a board between 1m59 and 1m54). _ since there is a rocker on the All Road, you can choose a slightly larger one, _ a smaller one makes practicing easier. Also recommended for people who are light in relation to their height, choose a larger size for greater stability at high speeds, 158 cm (132-176 lb) => from 5'6" to 5'7" 163 cm (165-198 lb) => from 5'7" to 5'9" 168 cm (187+242 lb or more) => from 5'9" to 6'2"
