Product Customer Reviews

A bargain price
last one was also large this one far too big
Considering the strong winds lately, I have not felt any cold. The jacket protects against wind and rain.
Great winter jacket and a good price
Generous sizing, warm (I used with a base layer 5 degree). Good for £30
The items that I ordered arrived as informed also they are excellent as is everything I have perched
Super
Excellent Product
Well made and perfect for winter or rain. Would normally be a large but glad I got XL, as this allows extra layers underneath.
Greta value for money, not given 5 stars due to very tight cuffs when putting hands in and out, can be difficult to extract hands with out a lot of pulling on the sleeves. Maybe I have larger than normal hands?
Excellent cycling jacket, good quality, lovely and warm for those winter rides. Absolutely great value for money. Looks good too. Delighted with this purchase.
I wore this for the first time today in 2 degrees C weather and I was as warm as anything! As some reviews have pointed out, it did get a bit too warm/sweaty at time (resulting in me having to unzip it slightly) but not exactly the worst thing ever, you are cycling after all!! Only downside that I can see so far is I wish the back panel had much more reflective material as it is all black on this so not ideal. Aside from that, I'm very happy and for the money, you can't go wrong!!
Stylish and well made.
As others have mentioned, I think this is a real bargain for £30! It has kept me warm at temps just below freezing with a decent base layer underneath. It is a snug fit and i expect would be a little too tight if you are carrying a some extra timber, but it is perfect for me. The level of waterproofing was a pleasant surprise, I'm still dry after an hour in pretty heavy rain. Windproofing is really sound too. It is a good-looking jacket as well. A few minor issues are that it isn't as breathable as i'd hoped. I do cycle with a backpack, which probably doesn't help, but I do find I need to unzip 1/4 way down to get some air circulation. A few more reflective details wouldn't go a miss either - I feel like multiple reflective elements should be standard for cycling clothing. It looks like these minor issues are addressed in the £45 B-Twin 500 jacket, but all-in-all this is excellent and have been very pleased with it. If you are a bit tight for cash this is well worth the monies
I didn't expect much for 30 quid but its actually a decent little number. Gets a bit sweaty on long climbs but dries quick enough. It is more of a coral colour than true orange but it gets you noticed on the road by drivers. The back panel is black though so not overly helpful. Sleeves have an inner cuff which you can slide under your gloves. Back pockets would be great. I've been out in 0-2 degree rides for 4 or more hours with a base layer a longsleeve jersey and this on and it has been a little too hot at times! Overall a bargain for how much jacket you get.

The purpose of a cycling jacket
The third layer is the layer that protects you from the elements, for instance the cold and the wind, while the underneath layers offer warmth and breathability. The right jacket will keep you comfortable whatever the weather With its integrated arm warmers and membrane, this 100 jacket will protect you from the cold effectively on short rides.
Warmth thermal resistance rct: 0.35
A product's ability to protect from the cold. This ability depends on the thermal resistance and the air resistance of the fabric. The higher its thermal resistance, the more the product retains the heat produced by the body while cycling.
Breathability ret: 16.6 air resistance: 0.35
To determine whether a fabric is breathable, we measure its evaporative resistance (test based on standard ISO 11092). The lower its resistance, the more the fabric will let water vapor produced by the body escape, and therefore the more breathable it is. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric.
