A similar jacket from Decathlon UK is made from nylon and compacts nicely into something that fits in your palm - think a pair of socks tucked into themselves. This compacts to something like a large paperback!! NO way will it fit into a jersey pocket.

This has been a baffling purchase. The material would suggest this jacket is perfectly waterproof but, while it keeps me more or less dry during a light shower, if caught in a downpour it is absolutely useless. I've unzipped it repeatedly to find the clothes beneath absolutely drenched despite their being no way for the water to have got inside by other means. Very disappointed.
Hello. Thank you for leaving a review of the 100 Rain Jacket. The jacket is waterproof up to 3000mm which will keep you dry during a light shower, but is not designed for heavy downpours. I would recommend a jacket higher up the range with a higher waterproof rating for more extreme weather conditions.

I bought this B’Twin jacket because I wanted a jacket that was functional, windproof, good length at the back and with high visibility and also pockets in the front!

Good size reasonable price
I bought this jacket as a backup for my commuting but after an accident it ended up to be my only one. I commute 20 km every day and I immediately realized the bad quality of this noisy plastic thing with no ventilation at all (I was sweating even with 10 degrees), a very weird fit and two small pockets with an always stuck zip (one day I ripped off the left one to use my cards). I can't understand why people put 5 stars (or even 2) to this jacket. Probably they use it just for leisure...
Thank you for leaving a review of the RC 100 rain jacket. Our 100 range is indeed designed for entry level road cycling. Depending on the level of exertion during your commute, it may be worth trying the RC 500 rain jackets for a tighter fit and a more breathable fabric. A high visibility version will be available later in the season.

This is a great, lightweight jacket which performs its function brilliantly. Lots of people have asked how to stow it: look for the external pocket with a double zip. Turn it inside out and carefully “stuff” the jacket into the (now inside out) pocket. Finally, use the reverse fastener of the zip to neatly close the storage pouch. I hope this helps.
Good price and has done the job I wanted it for, only gripe is it says it folds up into inside pocket, which it does in a sort of fashion but not very well.
Nice jacket, can get a little warm in it but that’s not a bad thing I guess. Has a Vioo clip on it for a rear bike light which is a nice feature. Would recommend.

Waterproofing is a fabric's ability to prevent rain water from passing through. A fabric's waterproofing is determined by measuring its resistance to the pressure exerted by a water column, measured in mm (test based on ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. A component with a 3000 mm waterproofing will resist the pressure exerted by 3000 mm of water.
Fabric breathability ret: 8.44
To determine whether a fabric is breathable, we measure its evaporative resistance (test based on standard ISO 11092). The lower its resistance, the more the fabric will let water vapor produced by the body escape, and therefore the more breathable it is.
