Product Customer Reviews

I use them everyday at work, very happy.
Got these for my husband and he loves them. Very comfortable and amazing value for the price
Very Good product 👌
Proper for walking but you need to replace the sole with other soft ones.
I bought these boots last year having had double bunion surgery. I usually wear a ladies 6.5 but these in a men's 7 were perfect as my feet were still a little swollen before a trip to the lakes 5 months post op. My expectations were low but I got miles of walking done in them with no discomfort at all. I've worn them since frequently at my allotment/walking my dogs etc and will definitely be buying another pair if they ever wear out!
These boots are great. Not waterproof or even water resistant but good for dry days. I have ordered a second pair.
Have bought about 8 pairs of these over the last few years - look great and super light and comfortable. Only minor downside as the same for any man made boots - can start to smell after a while!
I bought these because they looked fine and were the cheapest model in the range of walking boots at Decathlon. Why pay more, I thought. My optimism has been realised. I have walked many miles and am very pleased. I aim to take them with me when I go skiing. I may attach boot grips, also available at Decathlon, for walking on snow and ice at the resort.
nice and price excellent
Bought these to do a charity walk up snowdon, not recommended for this activity bit a lot of reviews have stated they bought for this sole purpose, I would not recommend them to even walk about the house in they are difficult to put on have started to fall apart after 8x wearing them once up snowdon the other walks locally pavements grass ect. They feel like they are made from cardboard you can feel everything you walk across through the sole they are so thin you can wring them out like a cloth spend the extra few quid
Bought as a replacement before my current boots wear out, same as I have just bought and have been brilliant as used for work doing an average of 14k steps every day on mostly gravel paths. Extremely comfortable
Look, they arent gonna keep you feet dry, however for simple walks with the dog they are good for the price.
I bought these almost a year ago and have been using them as 5 days a week work boots 🥾, apart from a small rub through near the tongue they are fantastically comfortable and mostly waterproof unless you stand in water that breaches the laces. Will be buying again highly recommend
I tried these after using the shoe version for the last few years. I needed new walking boots after the last pair of expensive boots from Go Outdoors wore out within 20 miles. Have to say that I am NOT disappointed with these boots. They’re recommended for light use, but I’ve used them for months to go hiking and walking without any issues whatsoever! The soles are on the thin side, but an insole would help cushion your feet. I don’t know about the negative reviews here, but they’re great quality for how much they are. I have size 12 feet, and the Decathlon sizings are on the small side, so I had to go for the 12.5 instead. I have wide feet too and these don’t pinch my feet or make them uncomfortable to wear for long periods. I will definitely be buying more of these!
At £19.99 I wasn't expecting much, but these boots really are good. Wore them climbing Snowdon in the wind and rain and they performed amazingly. I'd recommend getting some additional insoles, but they are only around £5 on here.

Crosscontact sole
The sole design is the product of a lengthy research process conducted in our laboratories, which has been combined with a special rubber formulation to optimize grip and traction. Given the variety of different needs, we always seek the best compromise between muddy off-road trails (like a forest path) and mineral trails (like a coastal path).
Designed for use on country paths
Our hiking boots are designed for use on country trails. Indeed, we choose the components of the sole and upper of our boots and test them to ensure that they are ideally suited to hiking on loose trails (e.g. forest paths made of soil) or rocky trails (e.g. rocky coastal paths). The boots may wear prematurely and feel uncomfortable when used on roads (tarmac). They are not suitable for mountain walking.
How to choose the correct size of hiking boot
Try on both boots while standing, with the socks worn for hiking. Try on several models or sizes if necessary. Check the following 2 comfort points: the bottom of the heel and the front of the foot going downhill. There should be no pressure points when trying them on. Feel free to walk around the store. Gradually wear in your boots over the course of a few hikes so that they conform to your feet.
Laboratory test
Laboratory tests are conducted to validate the following elements: tearing of the eyelets and straps, gluing, toxicology, UV resistance, abrasion of the sole and the components of the upper, accelerated aging.
The boot/sock combination plays an important role.
Many things cause blisters when hiking: rubbing, a crease in the sock, moisture, a boot size that is too small or too big, etc. It is therefore important choose the right size and to have socks made of the right material for your hiking boots.
How to choose the size of your hiking socks
You must choose the right sock size for your foot so that there are no additional creases in the sock: either because the sock is too big resulting in too much material around your foot, or because the sock is too small resulting in extra material getting pulled inside the boot.
How to choose the material of your hiking socks
Moisture must be effectively managed when hiking: this is often unavoidable given that we perspire. If your boot is breathable, it will eliminate your perspiration: in this case, you need to choose a lightweight sock that is also breathable If your boot is relatively waterproof, you will need to make a different choice to protect yourself from rainwater: it is preferable to buy socks that will absorb perspiration, to keep the moisture as far away as possible from your foot.
Which pair of socks is suitable for the nh100 boots?
Although this type of footwear offers some breathability, it is not sufficient to eliminate all the perspiration. It is preferable to wear them with NH100 Mid socks: they contain cotton that absorbs moisture and they have a plush loop construction under the sock that keeps the moisture away from your foot. What's more, they are high enough to protect your ankle from the boot. This is an excellent combination for reducing blisters.
Warranty
Our hiking boots are guaranteed for 2 years. Our commitment? To offer you durable products you can take with you on all your country walks. Because the products we like the most are those with a story behind them that is still ongoing!

Product testing
It is in France, at the foot of the Mont Blanc, that our design team imagined, thought up and designed the Quechua products. We test them in the field with other hikers to make sure that they are comfortable and durable. Whether it is the Forest of Fontainebleau or Brittany for example, we visit as many trails as possible, in all weather conditions. These moments involve a lot of discussions. We use this to get your feedback and prepare our future collections!
