Product Customer Reviews

I bought this shoe together with another pair of different Decathlon model. I was disappointed that it was tight at the edge and very uncomfortable at my toes. Both models were the same size so I kept the other and had to return this one. I am not sure why they designed this shoe so tight and narrow at the edge, it doesn't seem like a size issue but more design flaw to me.

For the price you can't get better than these. Same quality as ones that cost 4 times as much
My husband tends to have short wide feet and seeing that these shoes run small I ordered a 10.5 and 11 for him to try both. They do not make wide sizes. He normally wears a 10. The 10.5 was ok length wise but too narrow for comfort. The 11 fit more comfortably so he kept that pair and we returned the 10.5. Haven't taken them on a hike yet, but he will just do simply day hikes on easy trails.
I would not normally shop for shoes at Decathlon but a friend recommended that we give it a try. I bought two pairs, one for my wife, and we were both pleased with our purchases. The sales staff were quite helpful and the price was exceptional value.
Hi John,

Can't wait to see you again in store soon!

Bought these as 'dog walking' shoes, so I have trudged these over/into concrete, bitumen, grass, rocks, puddles, mud, etc. Seem to be holding up fine and are adequately waterproof for this task. Great value for the price.
A good sturdy, comfortable budget shoe. An average width, so if you have wide or feet that swell go for a slightly larger size. More foot/ach support would be nice, but even I can wear them easily for reasonably long periods of time. Feels nice on the foot.
5 out of 5 speaks for itself, does it not?
Does the job.
Good also for othef activities due to the grip.
Have liked these since I first 'found' them - price has increased over the years but still good value. Only issue is that it is very hard to get my size (need at least 12.5UK) - they used to come in that size but it seems not anymore so ... I guess I've purchased my last pair (I think i've had four in the past - I do a LOT of walking so they do wear out).
Well made, comfortable & offers excellent grip.
You'll get exactly what you need at a superb price.
Nice
Shoe overall not bad for the price you pay. Iam not happy with the sole, wearing out very quickly,I do around 20 to 30km walks a week. Not much of a pollster inside.

Additional Product Information
Composition
Upper of: 55.5% Polyester, 44.5% Polyurethane ; Outer sole of: 100.0% Styrene Butadiene Styrene ; Lining and sock of: 50.0% Polyester, 50.0% Ethylene Vinyl Acetate
Resistant soles for walking trails
The sole’s design is the result of long research carried out in our labs. It is composed of a specific rubber formula which optimises grip and traction. We are systematically looking for the best compromise for walking on soft (e.g. forest paths) and stony (e.g. coastal paths) hiking trails. When used on roads, this can lead to the premature wear of your boots and cause discomfort. They are not suitable for mountain walking.
Tested for durability and optimal resistance
Laboratory tests were conducted to test the following elements: tearing eyelets and straps, gluing, toxicology, UV resistance, abrasion resistance of outsole and upper components, accelerated ageing. These tests allow us to improve the quality of our products and prevent premature wear of our hiking shoes.
How to choose the size of my walking boots?
Try on both shoes, standing up, with the socks worn for hiking. Try on several models or sizes if necessary. Check two comfort points: - the heel seating- the front of the foot on a downward slopeAvoid any pressure points when fitting. Feel free to walk around to test the comfort and support. Gradually start using you shoes during your first few hiking trips to break them in.
Which pair of socks is suitable for the quechua nh100 boots?
These shoes are slightly breathable, but not enough to evacuate all humidity created by your perspiration. Preferably use the Hike 50 Mid socks: they contain moisture-absorbing cotton and have a reverse terry-knit construction under the sock that wicks moisture away from your foot. They are also high enough to protect your ankle from the shoe. It is an excellent combination to reduce the chance of blisters.
Our environmental policy
