Recently used this jacket for 10 days in Himalayan range upto zero and minus degree temp. I was expecting better results but not disappointed. you need atleast 2 layers (A good base layer and fleece) under this Jacket for comfort in zero degree temp. All in all good product for short hikes and upto 5 degree temp.
Excellent choice for north India cold. Picked up from the men’s section but the design is such that even women can flaunt it. Stylish and the colour is too good. Highly recommended it
This material is soo soft and very handy... It's serves the full purpose of its make....

This is a good, comfortable jacket and excellent value for money. It is very light and the jacket is exactly as per the pictures on the website. Note that I am 6"2, relatively slim but had to return a size L and go for the XL size when I am normally a size L for these types of jackets. The jacket is relatively short but it is not an issue for me.
I have used this on a Himalayan trek where the temperature fell to 7-8 deg C with a real feel of around 3-4 deg C and this came in very handy. First, as it easily folds itself into a pocket, this is super convenient to pack and carry around. Second, it is very light so it doesn't feel like carrying a lot for the warmth that it provides. Lastly, this traps the heat pretty well thus from a warmth perspective this is good. Most of the time this was only my second layer and I was fine even with heavy winds blowing. There is one without the hood but I would definitely go with the hood as it provides extra protection to head and ears.

This polyamide fabric that uses 20 denier thread resists 20,000 cycles of abrasion. Martindale test, Standard 12947-2 Outer: 100% polyamide fabric 1.4 oz/sqm, 20 denier Lining: 100% polyester fabric 1.2 oz/sqm, mix of 15 to 20 denier threads
This down jacket has been certified for a comfort temperature of 21°F during a standardized test in a thermal chamber. The model wears a synthetic long-sleeved T-shirt and a light fleece underneath. It works with a simulated 3 mph wind. In our heat comparison tool, it represents 2 stars.
We use 100% polyester fill (25% recycled). The wadding is made from silicone-coated spiral fibers that make it highly compressible and highly durable. Despite its low thickness, it has high insulation properties thanks to the air trapped inside, and remains lightweight. It remains warm even when wet.
Because the fabric we use reduces CO2 emissions by 40%. The fabric used is innovative because it mixes a self-dyed black thread and an undyed thread. Compared to a classic dyeing process, this process reduces by: - 66% fine particle emissions (PM2.5) - 74% Eutrophication of fresh water - 68% eutrophication of sea water
On the Trek 100 black and Trek 100 blue models, the outer fabric uses a clean process known as dope dyeing (the thread is dyed before the yarn is woven) reducing CO2 emissions by 36%. More information: http://developpement-durable.decathlon.com/
The water-repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight and breathable. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface; however, this property may deteriorate with use. In order to reactivate it, follow the guide: https://www.quechua.co.uk/advice/how-do-you-restore-water-repellent-properties-your-jacket-a_86426
Inside flap under the zipper that protects from the wind. Elasticated cuffs, flap at the top of the collar to protect the chin. Tightening with an elastic cord and toggle at the hem. Hood with elastic bias binding
The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire lifecycle using various indicators. An overall ABCDE rating is given to help you easily identify products with the best environmental performance by comparing and contrasting products of the same type (T-shirts, pants, backpacks, etc.). Decathlon actively promotes this environmental rating initiative. More information: http://developpement-durable.decathlon.com/

In November 2017, 6 backpackers (4 men and 2 women) with part of the Forclaz design team tested this down jacket for 4 days in the Southern French Alps. We were then able to make the final modifications and validate it for use in mountain backpacking.
