Product Customer Reviews

Possibly the best product Decathlon sell. Just as good as branded stuff twice as expensive. Love the anti odour properties
Merino for this price is excellent
I'm very disappointed with this T shirt as it's already got several runs in the material about 4 inches long. Hardly lasted any time & the material is too delicate for hiking use.
Great tech T-shirt, used for MTBing, walking and climbing. I’ll be getting another few
Lovely sweat-wicking material, nice colours.
Well fitted top, soft and comfortable and dries really fast after washing.
Bought this for a trek in the Atlas Mountains knowing that there would be at least three days without showering. Comfortable, reasonably quick-drying and it really didn't pong at the end of it all. The only negative was the slightly itchy stitching for the cable on the sleeve. A quick un-pick with my penknife and problem solved. Really impressed, especially at the price.
Ideal for bouldering, comfortable and good sweat wicking
I thought I'd try out merino tshirts to see if they do what they say regarding breathability and no smell after a day of cycling in 26 degrees in and around the city. I was kept cool and the shirt wicked the perspiration away..and no smell!! I hung on a line to air for a day and used it again..I will buy more ..good price too considering some companies.
I bought this only because it's meant to be good at minimizing odours, but even after one day's wear, it smells under the armpits.
Good but expensive
I haven't used it yet in Himalayas but used it in Maharashtra and it's really good. I'm quite sure it's going to be really useful in low temperatures.
I have bought this Tshirt 1 month back and used 3 times occasionally and I can see several holes in my Tshirt. I know Merino wool has this problem has a fabric but trusted decathlon on durability. I would request a immediate attention with return pickup has decathlon store is 300km away from my location and Corona made it difficult to travel . I would request a fine reply from your team

As this is my first Marino t-shirt, I wanted to test it fully. I used it for 5 hrs hike with 24 degree temp and all in full sun light. I was all sweaty but this magic t-shirt was wicking the sweat very quickly. Still fresh to wear after extensive use. Though looking at price I will call it luxury fabric but not essential (like synthetic) I would have given it 5-star if price would be moderate.
Feels like the perfect hiking t-shirt for the Himalayas. Used it on a hike to Pindari glacier in the Himalayas. Maximum altitude gain was 12,000 feet. Time: mid November. Didn't feel cold in windy drafts. Was walking with a heavy backpack, but didn't unduly sweat, thanks to the breathability of this t-shirt. It also helps maintain the right body temperature. The green colour looks good as well.

Sizing and fit
This T-shirt has a slightly fitted sporty cut that facilitates moisture transfer toward the outside of the fabric. Select your usual size or 1 size larger if you prefer a looser fit.
Durability
Use of a BETA-SPUN yarn structure in which the polyamide threads coat the Merino wool fibers and protect them from rubbing and cuts without affecting their properties.
Origin of the merino wool
We only use wool from Merino sheep raised on farms in South Africa that do not practice mulesing. We decided to build a partnership with a group of breeders (Konsortium Merino) to guarantee respect for animal welfare and the environment. We thus have complete traceability, which allows us to guarantee the origin of the wool. More information: https://www.forclaz.fr/merinos-2019-bp_4128
Odor control
Wool from Merino sheep naturally controls the spread of bacteria that cause bad odors. This Merino wool T-shirt can therefore be worn several days in a row and means you can take less clothes when backpacking making for a lighter backpack!
Reduction of the chilling effect
After exercise and heavy sweating, Merino wool prevents evaporation, helping to maintain body temperature by absorbing the majority of the body's moisture. This therefore reduces any unpleasant chilling effect. Conversely, a synthetic material lets the body temperature go back down again quicker.
Tip before use
For a softer feel, wash your T-shirt before first use.
How do i wash my merino wool t-shirt?
We recommend that you machine wash your Merino wool T-shirt at 86°F on a normal cycle, preferably with liquid detergent. Dry flat and NEVER tumble dry unless you want it to shrink by 1 or 2 sizes!
