I bought this for hiking and walking. It has been great. Especially with the facemask and the current covid19 environment. I use the coat on a daily basis. Great quality and dries really quickly. The wrist straps are fantastic when the wind picks up. Just a shame that there isn't a zip tag on the interior breast pocket zip. I have attached one from an older coat. I'm so glad I bought it.
Size wise large seems very large which was the recommended size, had to return for a medium. Still plenty of room to layer up but loads better. Just nit picking but it’s a shame the hood doesn’t have the some style adjustment on the top/back as either side instead of the velcro fastener. A lot like many other 3D adjustable hoods. And one other small thing, the hand warmer pockets could do with being a little bigger. All that aside, the coat does seem to be very well made and good quality. Definitely one for extreme weather and I look forward to seeing how it holds up to long spells working in the rain and wind.
Very high quality of manufacture and finish and very well thought out design with lots of useful touches. Tremendous value for money as it offers near Ocean specification for the price of major brands Inshore gear. Will need to test the longevity of the proofing but looks to be up to the job.
Really that is it......and at an amazing price. It is the match of any of the known names and at 1/2 the price. Just superb.

Using this jacket for rowing across the Atlantic Ocean. Really good quality, and dry, stood the test during our training in Ireland.
This jacket is perfect for times when I am exposed to the elements for extended periods, has great features which cover my face from wind and drys really well in between downpours. I have used it for the past year to keep warm and to shield from squalls and I really can't fault the jacket at all.
Proti videu chybí mnoho vychytávek: stahování v pase, vnitřní lem v pase, vedení sluchátek do náprsní kapsy, stahování límce, stahování boků kapucy (!), zip na schování kapuce, poutka na drobnosti v kapsách. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azhhEAMgG3s&t. Vrátil jsem zejména protože mi byla velká - postupoval jsem dle průvodce velikostí. Vrácení zcela bez problémů - v tom je Decathlon super - nakupuji bez obav.
Nahtdichband löst sich nach 20-30 mal tragen ab. Vliesteil im Kragen kratzt und ist zu kurz.

Hatte die Jacke im Frühling für eine Woche mit Nachtsegeln auf den Balearen im Einsatz. Hält absolut trocken und warm. Super Verarbeitung und Material. Absolut vergleichbar mit der z.T. wesentlich teureren Konkurrenz.
Die Jacke kann mit meiner teureren HellyHansen Jacke locker mithalten. Funktionalität, Design und Material sind mind. gleichwertig, wenn nicht sogar etwas besser. Einzig die Größe: Trage je nach Schnitt XL bis 2XL. In dieser Jacke würde mir locker Größe L ausreichen (allerdings nicht mehr verfügbar).

Beim Einwöchige Törn am Waddenmeer in Oktober mitgehabt und lief alles ok, aber der Reißverschluss ist ein bisschen schwierig zum hochziehen.
Ich hatte schon das Vorgängermodell und war sehr zufrieden. Die Jacke jetzt ist nochmal verbessert: Höherer Kragen, bessere Handgelenkabschlüsse. Tolle Jacke auch ausserhalb der See für windige und nasse Tage super. Preislich auf jeden Fall eine super Alternative zu Jack Wolfskin &Co. Mit einer Vliesjacke drunter auch super im Winter.
Habe mir die Jacke für lange Regenspaziergänge am Meer gekauft, evtl dafür überdimensioniert, aber tut genau was sie soll. Die ist richtig dicht. Die Kapuze hält und stört nicht. Stabiles Material. Sehr schön die überlappenden Klappen vor dem Mund. Das ist bei Bedarf richtig kuschelig.
Anfangs war ich skeptisch, was eine gute Segeljacke für den Preis angeht, aber das hat sich gleich gegeben. Die Jackengröße des Größenhelfers ist genau richtig. Die Jacke ist absolut dicht und nicht atmungsaktiv, aber wind- und wasserdicht. Mit einem dicken Fleece ist man auch bei kalten Temperaturen sehr gut aufgehoben.
Nutze die Jacke zum Radfahren in der Stadt (München): Schützt hervorragend gegen Nässe, langer Schnitt, viele große Taschen, gute Verarbeitung und durch auffallende Farben wird man von anderen Verkehrsteilnehmern schnell gesehen. Schnitt fällt groß aus, so dass man auch ein Sakko/Anzug unter der Jacke tragen kann.

For optimal waterproofing, take the time to tighten the cuffs. Also check that the inner sleeve is not caught on your watch, for example, and that it is not ruched up.
How to reactivate the jacket's water-repellency step 1: before washing
Close all zippers and flaps and remove any parts of the garment that cannot be washed. Also remember to loosen the straps and elastic parts and empty the pockets. Then turn the garment inside out to wash it.
How to reactivate the jacket's water-repellency step 2: washing
You can wash your jacket on a synthetic cycle at 86°F or 104°F with your usual detergent. Do not use fabric softener, which could damage the existing performance of the garment, or bleach. Also take care not to bend your jacket too much when you place it in the washing machine and do not overload your machine. Using the right thermal protection based on the water temperature is essential. select a thorough rinse or double rinse to completely remove all detergent residue.
How to reactivate the jacket's water-repellency step 3: drying
Drying is a crucial phase in reactivating the water-repellent treatment. We recommend that you lay your jacket flat on a clothes rack and leave it out to dry in the open. Caution: never dry your jacket directly on a radiator. Then place it in the tumble dryer on a short synthetics cycle, i.e. 10 to 15 minutes, before turning it back the right way around.
How to reactivate the jacket's water-repellency finishing step
If, despite this procedure of washing and thorough rinsing followed by gentle drying in a tumble dryer, the drops of water no longer run off the surface of your jacket, we recommend that you "re-waterproof" it using a waterproofing spray sold in our stores.
