Product Customer Reviews
As a more mature snowboarder, who just loves to carve but often spends time on the slopes with younger people who look to find interesting and sometimes difficult off piste, I couldn't believe how confident i felt on this new board, okay so the conditions were near perfect but at the price so was the board!.
Sensaciones son buenas
Blanda. Buena tabla
Taula exigent, molt reactiva i divertida.

A word from the product manager
We wanted a versatile board for those who are not attracted to the snowpark. This board is suitable for easy on-piste and off-piste use. So much pleasure! The prototype was 100% designed in our design center, at the Passy Mountain Store in Haute-Savoie, before being tested in resorts near our offices throughout its development.
Program/terrain
The All Road is the all-mountain board par excellence: 50% piste and 50% off-piste. You can go anywhere, on all types of snow, on-piste, off-piste and on powder, as well as on crusted snow thanks to its elongated front tip, made thinner to catch less. This is why the nose has this particular shape. Do not go to the snow parks: this board is not made for modules or to ride switch.
Directional snowboard
The shape of the board is directional, that is to say that the board has a front and a rear. It is not symmetrical; the rear of the board is slightly narrower than the front and the bindings as well as the contact points of the snowboard are set back slightly. A directional shape offers better edge grip when turning, better control of the trajectory and more acceleration on exiting turns.
Standard camber + rocker
We have retained all the benefits of a standard camber (thanks to the flexibility of the board, a standard camber acts like a spring to provide edge grip on all types of snow, quick edge-to-edge transitions and acceleration on exiting turns) and added those of the rocker (reduced stresses, the contact points of the board on the snow are closer together making the board more manageable). The rocker elongates and raises the nose so that it can glide better over powder.
All-round medium flex
The flex is the stiffness of the board along its length. The flex of the Bullwhip 500 All Road is about 3/5, which is average and versatile. It is reliable in carved turns while also being forgiving of edge mistakes.
Versatile and medium torsion
The torsional stiffness, which measures the stiffness of the board to twisting between the feet, is about 3/5 on the All Road 500, which is stiff enough for stability in turns, acceleration on exiting turns and liveliness in edge-to-edge transitions. This makes the board suitable for advanced to expert levels, while remaining very accessible physically.
25 mm setback
The setback is when the board's compression points with the snow are not symmetrical in relation to the center of the board, but set back toward the rear. The bindings are also set back toward the rear by the same distance. 25 mm setback = significant setback for directional boards. It provides better stability in turns and floatation in powder snow because the weight is at the rear of the board , which naturally makes the front come up.
Technical information
Mid-Wide size 64.2" Front width 302 mm. Center 265 mm. Rear 294 mm. Radius 25' (9.5 m). Effective edge 1,064 mm. No. of inserts: 10 + 10 (3 possible positions per binding/20 mm between each/compatible with mini disk). Recommended stance: 21.7".
Recommended bindings
With the All Road 500 binding, the board + binding combination will be very homogeneous in terms of level and program.
When should you wax your snowboard?
Wed'ze boards are supplied already waxed. They then require regular maintenance like all snowboards and skis: ideally requires waxing every 5 outings and at least once a year: - at the beginning of the season to start with a very good glide - at the end of the season so that the wax protects the sole all summer long
What size should you choose for your all road 500?
For All Mountain use choose a 6" or 8" drop, e.g. a person who is 5'9" tall should choose a board between 63" and 61" in length Because the All Road has a rocker, you can choose one a little larger A smaller sized board will be more maneuverable. This is also advisable for people who are light in relation to their height. A bigger board will be more stable at high speed 62.2" (130-175 lbs)=> from 5'7" to 5'9" 64.2" (165-200 lbs) => from 5'9" to 6' 66.1" (185-240+lbs) => 5'11" and up
What is the wide in snowboarding?
A "Wide" board is a board that is wider than normal to prevent "big" feet from touching the snow when turning at a steep angle, causing you to fall. From size 10½, it is advisable to take a "Wide" board. We measure the "Wide" with the width of the board at the center. At Decathlon, we define as follows: - up to 10": normal board - 10" to 10.4": Mid Wide - from 10.4": Wide
Glide quality: sintered sole
The bases are made from polyethylene however according to 2 different techniques: - extruded base, with a certain density of polyethylene - a sintered base, with a higher density of polyethylene (fewer holes, more PE) A sintered base is the Rolls-Royce of bases. The glide is really fantastic.
