Product Customer Reviews
I actually race slalom on these skis and find then quick and responsive with good edge hold. A fun ski and excellent value for money.
Ordered these online to be delivered at shop because store had none in stock. Quick delivery. Took boot to get the bindings adjusted. Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable Spanish girl did the job magnificently. Couldn't do better. Thank you!
First off I'm a man. A real shock, but yes. I have always skied with short skis. I prefer them. the turning circles are better. I used to ski in France with ski guides who took the French slalom team out. They all also used short skis. So I bought these to stick with what I'm comfortable with. They are good and my boot fits in the safety zone. The skis were set up at Decathlon Coventry by Patricia. Cracking job. The skis are light and durable good to carve with and allow a little hooliganism when the mood takes you. I would recommend these to men and women who want short skis. Had these not fit my boots it would have been 120cm snow blades with quick release bindings. They would have cost a fortune, unlike these. Great value.
Once again Decathlon have done , Great pricing strategy combined with outstanding levels of service is a winner. My advice don't pay silly prices with companies who proclaim to be experts but really only want to change double the price. Go to Decathlon , hire the ski and take a trip to the Chill Factor if you are happy with them make the purchase. The staff are brilliant .
Purchased these for my son who is an intermediate skier. at this price they offer good quality bindings, and performed without any problems at all over a weeks skiing. At this price the payback versus hiring and the reassurance that the bindings are set correctly for him make this a no brainer. Staff at Wednesbury store, could not be more helpful if they tried, I can only sing their praises in every respect.
My first set of purchased skies and currently using them in Mayerhofen. I am an Intermediate skier and found them easy to turn but at the same time kept a good grip on the slopes . No problem on Red runs and a couple of Blacks. Ideal first purchase.
I bought these skis for my wife and have just returned from Austria where she put them to good use. She had no problem with the skis and being new and her own they gave her more confidence and her skiing improved. The skis themselves were sharp, they look good and they were very reasonably priced. My wife rates them a 5 star product.
Would like to recommend them for all beginner skiers very easy manageable, with good speed performance. Used them in Bansko Bulgaria, very happy with my purchase decision.
I have skied on Wed'ze brand skis twice and both times I have found them to be responsive and suitable for all on piste conditions. I feel safe going fast and enjoy the precision they give me in carving turns.
These were great skis and I found them very easy to control on the mountain. They felt very sure through turns.
Bought These and used them on podkoren run in kranjska gora. They give you great feel underfoot and have a really good flex to help navigate rutty slopes and off piste

Experience
The BOOST 500 ski is fairly narrow at the waist, enabling faster transitions from edge to edge to initiate turns more easily. It enables good grip on hard snow, enabling control of speed. It is tolerant but reassuring to support progress from skidded to sliding turns. The aim is pleasure in managing turns and progress.
Construction
Fiber Tec shell: made with a composite core, fiberglass casing from edge to edge for good pressure transfer.
Bindings
Tyrolia bindings, model SLR 10, Din 3 to 10. Fits ski boots with sole length between 10.2" and 13.3"
Durability
Tip cap to reduce shocks on the tip. Structured topsheet for improved durability.
Preparation
Waxed and sharpened skis, ready to use. Edge sharpened to 89°.
What is camber?
When placing a ski on the ground, its points of contact are found near the tip and tail, whereas the middle of the ski (under the bindings) is slightly raised. This is the camber. The longer and higher the camber, the greater the grip and the more responsive the ski. The lower the camber, the more tolerant and manageable the ski.
What is rocker ?
On a "rocker" ski, the tip, and sometimes the heel, comes off the ground much sooner than with a cambered ski: this has the effect of moving the contact points toward the center of the ski. The surface of the ski in contact with the snow is shortened and offers maneuverability and lift in soft snow. When taking corners, the edge length provides more grip on hard snow. The longer the rocker, the better the handling of the ski.
Sidecut
125/72/108 in 66.9", radius = 41'
Our after-skiing advice:
After a long day of skiing, this is what you need to do to guarantee your ski's long life: * Wipe your edges with a rag at the end of the day to prevent rusting. * Use ski ties to prevent the soles from rubbing against each other. * Store your skis in a dry place, away from sunlight.
