Easy to handle

The Boost900 has multiple radii. It’s up to you to choose small or large curves

Stability

The wooden core across the entire ski offers great stability, even at high-speed

Traction

The Boost 900 is fitted with vertical edges which reinforce the ski’s grip.

Rigidity

Rigid.

Buoyancy

The Boost 900 is designed for the slopes, powdery snow is not its strength.

Construction

Woodcore Tec Sw: design fitted with vertical edges, gaining solid purchase on hard snow. The wooden core across the entire length of the ski assures a homogenous curved distortion, providing tension, comfort and stability for the skier. The light 3D on the ski’s heel allows for good distortion at the heel in order to assure a fluid curve movement (H design).

Bindings

Tyrolia bindings, PR11 MBS model (multi-standards), Full Diagonal triggering for safety, DIN 2.5 to 11.

Durability

Structured and reinforced tip end and topsheet.

Preparation

Waxed and sharpened skis, ready to use. Blade sharpened to 89°.

What is a camber?

When you set the ski on the ground, the points of contact between the ski and the ground are situated near to the tip and the heel, while the ski’s center (under the bindings) is slightly raised (this is the camber). The longer and higher the camber, the more grip and tension there is in the ski. The lower the camber, the more relaxed and maneuverable the ski.

What is a rocker?

On a “rocker” ski, the tip, and sometimes the heel, raise from the ground much faster than in a cambered ski. The effect of this is to move the points of contact towards the center of the ski. The ski surface area in contact with the snow is therefore reduced: you benefit from greater maneuverability and lift in smooth snow. On increasing the angle, you will come onto the length of the edge for more grip on hard snow. The longer the rocker, the more maneuverable your ski.

Piste rocker

Small tipped rocker eases the approach to turns.
