The cycling press reviews were right

This really is an excellent thermal jersey.

Best long-sleeved cycling jersey I've ever owned

This is the greatest long-sleeved jersey, for me. It fits exactly right - I have a slim build & six foot tall, I took a medium - not too baggy, not too tight. Amazing pocket options including my favourite - a zipped Napolean pocket with a slip-pocket behind so I can stow my sunglasses and phone securely. The rear pockets take a packable waterproof plus my pump and ride snacks. Plus the colour-scheme perfectly matches my bike! I hope Decathlon never stop making this design.

Truly excellent design

Best jersey I’ve ever owned, it is perfect in every way, please don’t change it, except for more colours, dark purple and green would be great, it works at zero degrees with a light wind stopper and no base layer, has always kept me warm when it’s freezing without getting sweaty. It works up to twenty degrees as it breathes extremely well. It has wonderfully natural feel unlike most cycle jerseys. What i love is that you can wear this in shops and cafes without looking like a Lycra clad cyclist. It’s a great versatile jersey with a quality look and feel. It’ is brilliant !

Retro styling

Lovely looking top- good for cold days and also when relaxing after a ride with a nice cuppa coffee...

Great garment

I have worn this constantly for the last 2-3 weeks as I am cycling around England(about 1600 miles). It cannot be faulted. All you need in a cycle jersey to wear over a shirt / or what you like.

Merino cycling top

This was a repeat purchase as I already have a blue one. It’s great wear under a soft shell fleece for extra warmth. The sizing however is weird. The men’s large fits me perfectly and I am a standard women’s 14/16. As the length is good for me,it might be short for taller men. Love the colour

Merino long sleeve jersey

This jersey is great value for money, its styled very well with extra pockets and a fitted cut. The long back and perfect merino wool blend make it a must in colder conditions.

Warm stylish jacket

I’ve only worn this once so I can’t comment on the washability, but I love the extra warmth provided by the fleece back body and the multiple pocketsIt fits close but not too close. However , I am 5’7”” , female , long body and I bought a large which fits perfectly( normally buy size 14 GB size) so size up unless you want a race fit!

Merino cycling jersey - delightful

Superb! wonderful value for money. High quality design here. In general I am very impressed with Decathlon's own brand products, and this jersey is no exception. Warm, good fit, practical, understated. Amazing quality at a very reasonable price. Love it.

Warm autumn jumper

I bought this so I could continue to cycle though winter and I’ve worn it twice on 50k rides with only a T-shirt underneath and it was really toasty. The fabric is spot on. Sleeve length perfect. The pockets really useful. Length wise it does ride up a little bit that’s due to my larger figure. I bought the XL instead of the XXL as this would have been too flappy. Overall I’m really happy with this purchase.

Nice colour and quality, fit is a bit loose

Lovely colour and in principle a nice jersey; but 'touring jersey' seems to be code for 'quite loosely cut'. I was hoping for something a bit less flappy, but may still come in useful for winter with layers underneath.

Comfortable, good pockets, reflective

Unlike a lot of other Decathlon cycling gear, the reflective elements are not specific to riding on the right hand side of the road!!!! Please do that on the rest of your stuff... having reflectors just on the left leg or arm is just dumb. This is a fairly thick, but with the fabric mix, isn't overly warm, but also with the fabric mix, doesn't get smelly after a few long days. Useful array of pockets that are good for lighter items, gels and the like. However, it's not windproof (or aero) in anyway, so I've mostly been using it with another layer, although I can see it getting used on warmer summer evenings or maybe less warm, but windless days. I'm finding it a nice additional layer though, and the reflective details really stand out if you are wearing it on the outer layer. Maybe just haven't had the weather to get the most out of it yet, or, due to lockdown, done a decent cycle tour, but this would definitely be in my pack list, as it's comfortable, and you can work in it, and it takes a while before you really need to stick it in the washing machine. Very comfortable on and off the bike, and fit was exactly as expected from sizing chart.

Good but fit not so much.

Am 6'2" and 93kg. Large ends above belly button and XL loose at back. But very comfortable

Long sleeved 51% acrylic 49 % wool jersey

Very good product and used with 100% merino base layer on club rides in winter wet weather for 3 hour rides down to about 4 degrees C. As long as you keep pedalling, no problem. Colder or wetter rides need a top breathable waterproof layer, which can be stashed in the ample rear pocket arrangement-very good design. Looks very cool - retro as though perfect for Belgium in say 1970 -the subtle reflective strips indicate it is up to date.

Merino wool touring Jersey Blue.

Very good quality and warm

Product warmth

A product's ability to protect from the cold. It depends on the material's thermal resistance and how much air can pass through it. The higher its thermal resistance, the more the product retains the heat produced by the body while cycling.

Breathability

To determine whether a fabric is breathable, we measure its evaporative resistance (test based on standard ISO 11092). The lower its resistance, the more the fabric will let water vapor produced by the body escape, and therefore the more breathable it is.

Care tips

Machine wash at 86°F. Wool cycle. Turn the product inside out and fully close the zipper. Do not use fabric softener. Hang to dry in a warm, ventilated place. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY as this may deteriorate the component. Do not dry-clean. Do not bleach. Do not place on a heater to dry.

Product tests

Our team of product designers based at the B'Twin Village in Lille is continuously working to make cycling more comfortable for our users. Our obsession is to develop products that meet cyclists' specific needs, overcoming the hindrances of cycling. To do this, we test our products each day and let you follow the Triban team on Strava, Instagram and Facebook

A rating to compare products' environmental impact

A product's environmental impact is calculated for its entire lifecycle using various indicators. An overall rating (ABCDE) is given, allowing you to easily identify products with the best environmental performance by comparing similar products to each other (T-shirts, pants, backpacks etc.). Decathlon openly displays the environmental ratings of its products. To find out more: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/
