Very good value fleece. Useful zipped outer pockets and inner liner pockets.
Great quality fleece jacket with handy zip on side pockets.
Sizing a little small, however, a good lightweight fleece. Perfect for layering. Unfortunately shrunk in first wash so now too small to wear.
Decent little fleece, ideal under waterproofs for fishing
Ok, first thing to say this is a very, very early review in terms of my ownership. I will update a review once I have owned and used it for a while. This had good reviews here so I took a chance and bought it online. I have never seen Tribord fleeces as my local store and only children's ones at another store that I sometimes go to, so if I wanted one I had to take a chance. Decathlon's returns policy helps with that but I still wish they would open a large store near me (not sure my wife does). I liked the water resistant element of this and it was that and the price and existing reviews that made me GFI. In being water resistant it reminds me a waterproof fleece (pre-softshell) that I had in the 90s, which was made by Duofold (also a French make, I believe) but which relied on a membrane rather than a treatment to achieve its water-sloughing ability. One clear point of differentiation is that the Tribord fleece is lovely and soft and malleable, whereas membrane fleeces were crinkly but windproof and can be seen as evolutionary steps between fleeces and soft shells. Anyway, the point is I am viewing the water-resistance as a bonus for when caught out by a sudden rain shower rather than something this jacket's appeal lives or dies by, especially for £14.99! The cut of the jacket is nice for me. It is semi-fitted in that it is not box-like but avoids the uber-fitted snugness of some modern mountain-type fleeces. In terms of sizing I ordered a Medium, as for all my other Decathlon brand tops that seems the way to go. I would say that had I been able to try this in store I would be trying to decide between the Small and Medium as it is slightly long and a tad wide in the arms and body. Speaking of which, for reasons I will get to I was initially undecided about the black fleece. As a consequence I subsequently ordered the red and grey one to compare (since returned). The latter was a bigger fit slightly despite both being mediums. At first I thought it was the slimming effect of the back one (ha!) but no it wasn't. Overlaying the two jackets showed a slight difference. Hopefully this isn't sign of Decathlon having unreliable sizing. Returning to the black fleece, the hi-viz yellow elements are ok on the zips but excessive on the collar, which as a result I would not want to wear down (hence initial hesitation) - leave it black please Tribord! Pockets themselves are okay but an inner pocket is always good - hint, hint. The collar is quite tall but acceptable. Side cinch cord to keep the drafts out of the hem is not brilliant but adequate, I guess. Overall the jacket feels really soft to wear and (when collar worn up) looks good. The value is good in my opinion but I will review the performance (water resistance and warmth) and quality in wear (check for defects, zip operation etc.) once I have owned it for longer.
Very useful during windy wrather
I bought for myself (a woman), the small was a perfect fit on my frame, unusual for a man's style. Lovely long arms and body, loads of practical pockets, perfect.
Love this fleece eventho the fabric feels thin it is extremely warm
Bought size large online but luckily tried it on in store and was a bit tight for me so found an XL in store so exchanged it there and then. Very good quality fleece recommended with deep pockets and elasticated cuffs. Just what you need for the winter and the extra bonus is that it has a water repellent finish so you just shake any water right off.
Excellent value for money. Light weight yet warm & waterproof. Used fabric pen to change White zip to same shade as fleece !!! Might even purchase a second -Brilliant shade of Blue. Ideal for cycling
Apart from the white zipper this is an excellent all weather fleece. It's surprisingly light yet wind proof. It sheds rain easily and dries quickly. Would highly recommend and if have an aversion to white zips get yourself a fabric marker...light. blue was a perfect match for this fleece. Also surprisingly inexpensive for such good quality
This is a high quality, low cist garment with secure zip pockets. It breathes well and appears to be a good layer garment, working well with other windproof waterproof layers. There isn't much to dislike at this price..
I bought this item for use whilst sailing in the Irish Sea, it performed admirably and seems too wear well, however I have only owned the item for a few months so I cannot comment on its longevity
ce polaire est super et chaud rien à dire

Your fleece is made water-repellent by applying a treatment to its outer surface. This treatment lets water run off the surface of the fabric without being absorbed. This prevents the component from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight. This treatment must be renewed several times throughout the product's lifetime. Water-repellent treatment products are available in our stores.
The breathability of your fleece corresponds to its ability to let perspiration generated by the body escape. It is measured by its Resistance to Evaporative Transfer (ISO 11092 standard). The RET is a resistance index; the lower the value, the greater the breathability of the fabric. RET between 6 and 9: extremely breathable, between 10 and 13: very breathable, between 14 and 17: breathable, between 18 and 20: not very breathable, over 20: not breathable. RET of your 100 fleece = 8.7
The clo is the scale that measures the thermal resistance of your 100 fleece. During the test, your technical garment's component is exposed to a temperature close to body temperature and a controlled outside temperature. The clo index reflects the ability of your 100 fleece to retain your body heat inside the garment. The greater the clo index, the better the technical fabric will retain your body heat.
The environmental impact of the product is calculated over its entire lifecycle and with different indicators. An overall score (ABCDE) is attributed to help you easily identify the products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type with one another (T-shirts, pants, backpacks, etc.). Decathlon chose to apply this voluntary environmental labeling system. For more information, visit: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/
