I bought this for my son to take on school camp & it has proven to be a favourite. Warm, wearable and washable. I like the style of the neck too, provides warmth if cycling or hiking. Zipped pockets to keep keys and valuables safe.

Fabulous just does what it should
Good product
Very warm , a handy garment
Fantastic warmth, great fit which allows for layering in the colder weather.
A nice fleece, soft and comfortable to wear, sizing seems as described. The collar comes up fairly high, but not too intrusive. I haven’t tested the waterproofing yet, though there are a few things, which could be better on it. I would like a zipped pocket on the inside that would be handy. The big let down (drop of 1 star), is the snitch cord at the bottom, just isn’t good enough. It’s on the right side only and I suppose this encourages 1 handed movement, (I found it difficult to do it with 1 hand), it doesn’t work as great, as a standard 2 toggle system, you have to pull it then kind of hook it back in the socket, all a bit fiddly, especially if you were on a yacht? Though for £15 includes waterproofing (if it works), then it’s not a bad purchase, if you don’t expect too much.
Very good value fleece. Useful zipped outer pockets and inner liner pockets.
Great quality fleece jacket with handy zip on side pockets.
Sizing a little small, however, a good lightweight fleece. Perfect for layering. Unfortunately shrunk in first wash so now too small to wear.

How is it water-repellent?
Your fleece is made water-repellent by applying a treatment to its outer surface. This treatment lets water run off the surface of the fabric without being absorbed. This prevents the component from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight. This treatment must be renewed several times throughout the product's lifetime. Water-repellent treatment products are available in our stores.
What is breathability and the ret index?
The breathability of your fleece corresponds to its ability to let perspiration generated by the body escape. It is measured by its Resistance to Evaporative Transfer (ISO 11092 standard). The RET is a resistance index; the lower the value, the greater the breathability of the fabric. RET between 6 and 9: extremely breathable, between 10 and 13: very breathable, between 14 and 17: breathable, between 18 and 20: not very breathable, over 20: not breathable. RET of your 100 fleece = 8.7
What is the clo index?
The clo is the scale that measures the thermal resistance of your 100 fleece. During the test, your technical garment's component is exposed to a temperature close to body temperature and a controlled outside temperature. The clo index reflects the ability of your 100 fleece to retain your body heat inside the garment. The greater the clo index, the better the technical fabric will retain your body heat.
