Recommended temperature: 30°F.
The "recommended" temperature refers to the ideal temperature for 75% of participants (neutral or slightly cool); 25% of participants state being a little cold, without it being unacceptable and consider the product suitable for the intended use.
Limit temperature: 8°F
The "limit" temperature is the temperature at which the item should be worn with caution as it is unsuitable for 2/3 of participants who feel cold. However, the item is still fine at this temperature for 1/3 of participants who do not feel hot or cold (neutral) as they are less sensitive to the cold - or can manage the cold, or those carrying out more intense activities.
Down and feather inner wadding.
Recognized for their essential insulation properties, down and feathers have an unparalleled warmth-to-weight ratio. A feather/down lining is considered to be very compressible, light and warm and gives good insulation while remaining lightweight."
Recommendation on thermal adjustment
Wearing the right kit on the ski slopes
In order to keep warm and dry, we recommend using the 3-layer rule. The principle is simple: Use 3 layers of fabric, each having a particular function. Your skiing base-layer and your liner jacket must produce and retain warmth. Your ski jacket will protect you from the weather conditions. All these layers should be breathable in order to evacuate humidity.
We know how much energy is expended during a day's skiing or snowboarding. That’s why we take particular care in choosing all the elements that make up our products to guarantee the best possible protection.
Ski pass pocket
You no longer need to get your ski pass out because your sleeve has a ski pass pocket to allow you to access the cable cars quickly.
The snow skirt is a protection system at waist level that closes with press snaps at the bottom of the ski or snowboard jacket. It prevents snow and air from entering during practice and especially in case of falling.
Ideally, take your padded jacket to the dry cleaner's.
You may also wash it in the washing machine + tumble dryer however the process is quite complex.

The product's environmental footprint is calculated for its entire life and with various indicators. A score of A, B, C, D or E is made to help you easily identify the most eco-friendly products by comparing products of a similar type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks).
For Decathlon, this initiative to display environmental data is a priority.
