Great Cross-sport find

Bought it for trail hikes, but I got caught at the golf course on a cold Fall day, Had it in the truck, grabbed it at the turn around, stayed warm all day!. I like the stretchy/flex-y sleeves.

Great jacket

Great on its own as a heavy sweater or as a layering piece.

Great midlayer for warmth

Purchased this jacket as a warmth layer for under my ski parka for ski coaching. Was quite toasty even in -18c plus wind. Very, very warm - on par with pieces that usually cost $299 or up. Fit is European- quite snug. I usually have plenty of room in a Large Karbon or Spyder and XL of this Wedze jacket fits like a M ro Med-Large.

Too small

I normally take size L in tops. This large top was like a medium or even small. Very tight fitting around the shoulders and arms. Returned for a refund.

Liz

Not used for skiing yet, I bought my husband this jacket and he's worn it whilst playing golf and when out for walks, it's light enough and not too bulky to wear a waterproof jacket over when needed

Great top

Really warm. I find I am a Large in all my Decathlon kit, despite being Medium elsewhere.

Excellent purchase

I bought this product for playing golf and I have to say that it meets all expectations. It is lightweight yet very warm and fulfils its purpose entirely. I am extremely pleased with it. The only criticism is that it is rather on the large side so be aware of this when choosing your size.

Great for cold ski days under ski jacket. The arms fleece material allow for easy movement. Very warm and light too. Only wish more colors avail… the black was sold out too. 40% off and I got one for each family member for our ski trip.

Great idea, poor quality

Good things: light and comfortable jacket Bad things: wore it just couple of times and it started falling apart material quality is very cheap, and deteriorate easily (especially elastic part around sleeves/ waste) The jacket does not live to it’s standard.

What is the cut of the 900 liner jacket?

The 900 liner jacket comes in SLIM fit.

How should you wash your liner jacket?

* Wash the jacket inside-out * Machine wash at 86°F, Delicate cycle with little detergent and without fabric softener. * Put 2 clean, ideally white, tennis balls in the drum of the washing machine. * Perform a 2nd or 3rd rinse cycle to make sure that any washing product that remains from the previous wash has been eliminated.

How to dry your liner jacket?

Dry in a tumble dryer (strongly recommended) * Use a gentle or delicate cycle. * Warning, make sure you select a gentle spin cycle. * Dry on several long cycles to dry completely. * Between 2 cycles, shake the down to break up the clumps of feathers that form during washing. If you do not have a tumble dryer, the process is longer. (drying can take 1 to 2 weeks on a dry and flat surface). Make sure you pat the jacket to avoid feather balls (at least 4/5 times)

Where do the feathers come from?

Our traceability system allows us to guarantee the origin of the feathers in accordance with our commitment to use responsible materials. Our suppliers are committed to using only feathers that come from ducks that are raised for their meat and plucked after slaughter. http://developpement-durable.decathlon.com/faq/

The filling power of a jacket: what is it? (cuin)

This 85% down/15% feather jacket has a guaranteed filling power of 600 CUIN (European standard). "Filling power" is a measure of the down's thermal insulation capacity through its ability to "trap" a certain amount of air. Down with higher filling power (a higher CUIN number) takes up more space, trapping more air and providing greater thermal insulation.

The advantages of duck down and feather filling

The down's long-lasting filling power gives it 3 important qualities for winter sports: - Thermal insulation via the air trapped in the down and feathers. - Lightness: down is lighter than synthetic padding, while offering the same degree of warmth. - Compressibility.

A score for comparing products' environmental impact

The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire lifecycle using different indicators. An overall ABCDE score is given to help you easily identify products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, pants, backpacks, etc.). Decathlon actively promotes this environmental rating initiative. For further information: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/
