I like these trousers for their fit and the stretch in the fabric make them comfortable to wear and to walk in.
I wear 34 - 36 " waist jeans & trousers and I'm short in the leg. I ordered Decathlon's 34w 34leg but was a bit concerned that the neccessary shortening would affect the fit. No need to worry - they fit brilliantly. They are a comfortable slim fit with ample stretch for active wear. Warm & windproof to wear and not too "rustly". The look & colour is understated - they don't scream "I'm a mountaineer" so I'd be happy to wear these to the pub. Very pleased and will be looking at their summer version in due course.
Great fit and ideal for walking in cold and wet
I ordered these for my husband as I’ve had the equivalent ladies version for almost a year myself and have found them absolutely fantastic. They wear very well, you don’t overheat but they keep you toasty warm in cold and very cold weather, are water resistant and the fit is spot on. The included belt is a really good feature too and very easy to operate. They’re incredibly comfortable to wear being slightly stretchy and are true to size. My husband wore his on our Boxing Day hike (very cold, windy and wet) and is already very impressed. The only addition that would improve them would be two rear pockets as well. That said, I’d highly recommend these to anyone.
good large zippered pockets confortable
Can feel a little snug around thighs but overall a good (slim) fit. Length is longer than normal BUT the clips on bottom mean that they can double as gaiters. Warmer than standard trousers and have water repellency built in so you stay both warm and dry!

These trousers are really nice and quality is good. Perfect fit. Would highly recommend.
My husband loves this trousers, they're warm and kept him dry in light rain and a wave that took him by surprise and splashed him at the beach. The only down side is how tight they are on the thighs. Because they're so cosy and warm, the tightness made him sweat.
I have the summer version of these hiking trousers and absolutely loved them so it was no surprise when my winter ones arrived and they fitted perfectly. I have a long leg so the sizing is important. They are very functional and have just the right amount of pockets I the right places. Great buy.

Made of a softshell material that should keep showers off and keep you warm. As usual buy a size up for people in U.K.

I took these to Killimanjaro during my summit hike. Kept me more than warm enough (with a base layer of course). Flexible material so great as a soft shell. Sadly I left these at base camp, so I can only assume one of the guides will be using these for the next few years!

Water repellent properties info
NB this product is not WATERPROOF. Water repellent means that the pants don't get wet too quickly but they will not keep you dry under normal rainfall. You would have to add over-pants for this. Water repellent properties can be reactivated by ironing the pants after washing.
