- in Ukraine decathlon is not represented, I bought a jacket in Italy. I was lucky! - for measurement personally there was no possibility, but who bought - knows my size. My usual size is M, but in this jacket for size M the sleeve turns out 3/4))). Size L has a sleeve, is still indecently short. The ideal sleeve was the size XL, but the elastic band from below did not fit tight enough. In general, the jacket over the sweater - perfectly sits and looks, warms, like an oven, the length - ok !. At 0 to 10C on the shirt - the heat !. So keep in mind that you need to buy 1-2 sizes more than usual! In the rest - it is impeccable, the quality is digital! :)
Brilliant fleece, it's really warm even when i wore just a t-shirt underneath in the blue mountains. Surprised by the space in the pockets, the arm pocket alone stores my 5.5 inch mobile phone. I would say a fair bit of wind resistance if it is moderately windy. It is a thick warm fleece so don't expect it to pack into its own pocket, really satisfied and will post a long term review in time to come!
Really nice fleece with great design and lot of pockets/ventilation zippers. Feels sturdy enough to have it a few years and definitely thick enough to not get cold. Unfortunately the size M didn't fit me (was too small around the waist and super short on the arms), so I ordered a size L and the waist and arm length are only marginally different to the M version. So if you have longish arms you might want to order one size up.
excellent
Close fitting, thick and very warm. The ventilation zips make it a very versatile jacket (though I'd love to see some on the arms too) . As soon as I purchased mine, I treated it with Nikwax "Polar Proof" and combined with my pertex windproof, I now have a warm and breathable waterproof coat system - been out in the rain for hours with my combo and it works a treat!
I have had this for quite some time now and bought it in version that had orange zips and was at a slightly lower price. Arguably the newer versions are more discrete and the blue certainly looks nice. This is a very warm fleece but I do find myself wondering when best to use it. As I like it I look for reasons but sometimes find that for practical purposes that other jackets get chosen last minute as more applicable. So what's wrong? Well if you are heading out and it looks like rain or is windy then this is not ideal. It is very warm and quite snugly cut but because the fleece is luxuriously thick I would struggle to comfortably fit it under a tailored waterproof or windproof jacket. I also then think why not just wear my £25 Quechua insulated waterproof or £35 Quechua down jacket instead? I wore it last year for a fireworks display but was chilled by the wind blowing off the river we were stood by. So, in essence this excels at dry, not too windy, cold weather. In those conditions is does feel lovely and is shaped well though be aware it is snugly cut limiting what you might reasonably layer up underneath. The cuffs on my version at least are open so going up a size would probably let even more cold in that way. The zipped arm vents are something I used to dismiss on jackets but they can help here when excess heat builds up. The zipped hand pockets are good and I don't mind the long diagonal front zip, which is presumably designed for maps. Not sure actually if this fleece is aimed at winter hikers or not but I personally think it is maybe a bit too bulky for that unless you aren't moving far. The hood is good and well insulated. Overall this a jacket that I will keep and enjoy, especially when I work out its best uses for me. It is perhaps not the best example of a piece to layer and so therefore not the most versatile but the comfort, snug factor cannot be ignore. I've given it 4 stars which I think is fair as other, lesser makes would charge more for this I feel. My advice though would be to try a variety of Decathlon warm jackets to see which one meets your particular needs. I tend to find the Decathlon sports uses (this is a hiking jacket etc.) largely something I don't pay too much heed of as like most good clothing from good makes it can be put to a variety of (mis)uses. For me I am going to give layering it under a wind jacket another go and also treat it as first choice for any still, cold days.
I received my red sweater on my birthday this year, February 12th 2018 and have worn it nearly every day since. In a wind and cold free environment it is fantastic but windproof it certainly isn't. At this present time 02.03.18, it is minus 6 outside and the world outside is completely white. I wind tested this jacket by sticking my arm out of the car window at 60 miles an hour in mid February and I have to tell you, it is not wind or cold proof at all. Part of the advertising of this jacket is that it was tested in the foothills of Mont Blanc. All I can say to that is must have been a warm spring or autumn day when they tested it because if you don't wear something windproof over or under it, the wind goes straight through it. This all my sound negative but this jacket is far from that. The day it arrived, it had just snowed and I had just been out in a lightweight down jacket. It was cold, blizzarding snow and non too pleasant outside. From the very moment I put this jacket on it warmed me up like a hot log fire in a mountain chalet and now, 3 weeks in, I have worn it every day with the exception of two separate days when I washed it. The Danish have a word that is something like 'Hooglii' and it means 'Cosy'. This jumper/jacket is Hooglii and this I promise you, you will not regret buying it. My wife paid £29.99 for the red/burgandy one and if I am honest, I would have paid double that if that's what it was. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because its not windproof. For something that is advertised as 'something tested near Mt. Blanc', I personally would have expected more windproofing. But then you can't have everything for this price. Nice one Quechua, keep up the good work.

This fleece has a great cut, plenty of pockets, technical features such as pit zips and would also be great to throw on in the evening when out camping in colder temperatures. It's great value at full price and I got mine for a bargain at £15.99 in a sale online. Unfortunately the sleeves were at least an inch if not two too short for the size so I had to return it.
excellent product size a little small needed xl for large, loads of pockerts very warm and comfortable.Would benefit from drawcord at hem,but not a game changer,

Fleece component: insulate with air
The fleece component keeps the air inside thanks to the volume created by its texture; the air keeps the body warm as it is naturally insulating. The knit is brushed, allowing it to enclose the air.
Component test:
Abrasion and friction resistance test: for example, we check that the fleeces do not pill using tests conducted in laboratories. Color-retention test: the colorfastness is verified to make sure that the colors do not bleed when coming into contact with saliva. Aging test: repeated washing must not affect the properties of the fabric, its behavior, thickness or appearance.

Product testing
We carry out 2 types of thermal tests: - either a test of our fleeces' material. - or on a thermal manikin in a temperature chamber. We recreate the temperature, wind (3 mph) and humidity conditions that you encounter in the mountains when walking at 3 mph. These tests are used to validate our design choices. And we adapt our thermal insulation where you most need it.
