WATER REPELLENT PROPERTIES INFO
NB this product is not WATERPROOF.
Water repellent means that the pants don't get wet too quickly but they will not keep you dry under normal rainfall. You would have to add over-pants for this.
Water repellent properties can be reactivated by ironing the pants after washing.
Protect yourself from the wind, when moving or stationary, is vital because of the wind's powerful chilling effect.According to the "windchill" model, which measures how the air temperature feels when factoring in the wind and cold:At a temperature of 41°F combined with winds of 19 mph, the temperature felt will be 32°F.If the air temperature is 32°F and the wind speed is 19 mph, the temperature felt will be 21°F.The materials used in our products help to counter the chilling effects of the wind

DURABILITY OF THE COMPONENTS
Resistance to wear test: for example, we check that the fleeces do not pill using tests conducted in laboratories. Color retention test: the color fastness is verified to make sure that the colors do not bleed when coming into contact with saliva. Aging test: Repeated washing must not alter the properties of the fabric, its shape, thickness or appearance.
* WARMTH OF THE MATERIAL
* Comparative study conducted in the laboratory under walking conditions with a slight wind (3 mph). These products are tested as an outfit with shoes, socks, pants, a base layer, a second layer and a third layer, which are all tailored for hiking in cold weather on snow-covered terrain. However, every individual feels the cold differently.
To find out whether a fabric is breathable, we test its evaporative resistance or RET (based on the ISO 11092 standard). The lower the fabric's resistance, the more water vapor generated by physical activity can escape, and the higher the fabric's breathability. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric / 9
