Product Customer Reviews

Honestly don't know how they do it for the money I'd put this on par with boards double the price Probably the Most fun board I've rode
Hey Sonny I am glad this board matched your expectation. Compared to our competitor (some of them are producing their boards in the same factories) the main difference stands in the fact that we are integrating from idea to distribution all the process of making a board. This allow us to control all the margin we do on our product and make sure that you pay for what you have. A classical composite board, wood core construction , state of the art edges and base.
Make sure to follow us on IG to find out more about us and if you drop by Chamonix feel free to contact me at yohann.kelkel@decathlon.com I'll give you a tour of the offices and prototyping centers .

Velmi hravá a zábavná jĂzda. UrÄŤitÄ› doporuÄŤuji :-)
Super Board, bin begeistert. Carven geht super.
Preis/Leistung, Verarbeitung, Optik, Fahreigenschaften, in allen Punkten voll zufrieden. Sehr verspielt, also drehfreudig.
More flexible then SNOWBOARD ALL MOUNTAIN/FREESTYLE PARK & RIDE 500 HERREN. It is also very good. Depending on the stile of riding. In my opinion this one would be Better for The tricks.

Which size endzone 500 should i choose?
For Freestyle use, you can go for a relatively short board: choose an 8" or 10" (20 or 25 cm) drop (e.g., a person who is 5'9" should choose a board between 154 and 149 cm in length). A smaller board makes rotations and tricks easier. A bigger board will be more stable at high speed and when landing jumps. 146 cm => 5'3" to 5'7" 151 cm => 5'7" to 5'9" 156 cm WIDE => from 5'9" to 5'11" 160 cm MIDWIDE => from 6' to 6'3"
A word from the product manager
The Endzone 500 is the most playful board in the range. We wanted it to be easy to handle as well as being a freestyle board: Playful, maneuverable, fun... We love this board but the most important thing is that you like it! Please remember to let us know what you think in the customer feedback section.
Program/terrain
The Endzone 500 doesn't carve as well as the Allroad 500 on the slopes but it is great fun in snow parks, whether for rail lines, jump lines, or on the flat. It's easy to handle in tight turns on the piste and is the perfect excuse for playful snowboarding on the edge of the slopes. With its flat camber and rocker, and soft twist between the feet, it is ideal for an experienced rider looking for a playful board as well as for a genuine beginner interested in freestyle.
Twintip snowboard
The shape of the snowboard is TwinTip. The board's sidecuts are completely symmetrical between front and rear, providing perfect symmetry and centering of the board's features for riding in both directions in the same way. The TwinTip shape also provides total balance when turning on the ground or in the air.
Flat camber + rocker
A flat camber offers the best compromise between a standard camber, which provides traction and dynamic motion, and a reverse camber, which provides maneuverability when turning but little traction. It is perfect for the park freestyle and beginner because: - the flat camber provides stability on modules and on the slopes - the rocker makes it more forgiving in parks and on the slopes as the 4 corners of the board don't touch the snow when the board is flat.
Slight flex (5/10)
Flex is the stiffness of the board between the front and rear. The flex of the Endzone 500 board is approximately 5/10, making it tolerant and playful. This is a very even type of flex from the tip (nose) to the tail, which makes the board playful in snow parks and on the piste. However, at high speed or on very frozen snow, this board cannot hold a carved turn.
Soft and forgiving torsion (4/10)
The Endzone 500 has a torsional flex, which is the stiffness of the board between the feet, of about 4/10, which makes the board easy to handle and pivot and more forgiving of edge errors. Soft torsion for free movement between the feet. It is important at the beginner level: forgiving of edge errors. Soft twist is also suitable for freestyle, jib, or flat use. Perfect for shredding!
0 mm setback
The setback is when the board's compression points on the snow are not symmetrical in relation to the center of the board, but set back toward the rear. The bindings are also set back toward the rear by the same distance. no setback = these are fully centered Twin Tip boards, not only for riding in both directions, but also for better balance during rotations in the air and on the slopes.
Recommended bindings
With the Endzone 500 binding, the board + binding combination will be very homogeneous in terms of level and the design is coherent.
When should you wax your snowboard?
Decathlon snowboards are supplied already waxed. They then require regular maintenance like all snowboards: ideally waxing every 5 outings and at least once a year: - either at the beginning of the season to start with a very good glide - or at the end of the season so that the wax protects the base all summer long
Glide quality: sintered base
The bases are made from polyethylene using 2 different technical processes: - extruded base, with a certain density of polyethylene - a sintered base, with a higher density of polyethylene (fewer holes, more PE) A sintered base is the Rolls-Royce of bases. The glide is really fantastic.
What is wide on a snowboard?
A Wide board is a board that is wider than usual to prevent larger feet from touching the snow when executing a hard turn & stop you from falling, or to improve float performance on powder. We measure the Wide with the width of the board at the center. Decathlon’s guidance is as follows: - up to 245mm: narrow board/shoe size US W 5.5 to 8.5 - from 246mm to 255mm: normal board/shoe size US M 6 to 9 - from 256mm to 265mm: Mid Wide/shoe size US M 8 to 11 - from 266mm: Wide/shoe size US M 10 to 14
Can i get my snowboard bindings set up in store?
Yes. On this product page, you'll find a video that shows you how to set up snowboard bindings, however you can also ask your store to set up your bindings to suit your own preferences. Ensure you have your snowboard boots with you so you can check 2 things: 1. the front and back of your bindings so that the boot toe and heel overhang by an equal amount on either side, 2. your binding straps so they fit your boots properly.

Product testing
All Dreamscape by Decathlon snowboarding products are tested under the actual conditions of use for which they were designed. In the snow, in the cold, in all conditions you may come across when snowboarding whether in powder, in the park or on the piste. The design teams check that the program for which the product was conceived and developed perfectly matches its use in the field.
