The All Road 500 is a new binding in the Wedze range for mainly on- and off-piste use. For precise handling of the board, the baseplate is closer to the board than other bindings, and the ankle straps are 3D with a good amount of foam to adjust to shoes with maximum comfort. They are also compatible with the carving booster (a pad to enable larger feet to also experience the pleasure of carving).

Opening mechanism

Turn Strap System : The strap is mounted onto a hinge, which allows it to turn inward when you lift your foot. When entering, the space is then free to insert the shoe into the binding without it getting caught. This also prevents the shoe from crushing the strap and hooks.

Possible settings

The All Road 500 bindings allow you to carefully center your feet on the board thanks _ to the 3 possible positions for the screws on the disc: 18 mm of adjustment between the minimum and maximum positions _ switching the spoiler from front to back: an extra 12 mm adjustment. The aim is for the shoe to hang over the board as much at the toe as the heel. Then the straps can be adjusted to the shoe using the pre-drilled positions on the plastic parts.

What is the stance on the snowboard?

The stance is the distance between the 2 bindings in cm. To be adapted to your body shape, but it is worth noting that all snowboards have a recommended position for bindings (recommended stance, indicated by a marker between the inserts of the bindings). If you feel the need to spread or position your feet closer together on the board, try it to see if you do actually feel better.

How can i change the space between my feet on the board?

For on-piste/off-piste boards, if you want to position your feet closer together it is best to move only the front binding further back, and if you want to move your feet further apart it is best to move only the rear binding further back. The aim is to be a little further back to turn cleanly on the slope and float a little more on powder. For freestyle boards (symmetrical), it is best to move the 2 bindings to remain centered on the board.

At what angle should i position my snowboard bindings?

For on-piste freeride use, we recommend an angle of +18° at the front and 0° at the rear. For versatile-freestyle use, prefer +18° and -6°. The openness of the rear foot gives more flexibility when riding switch. In pure freestyle use, do not hesitate to choose completely symmetrical angles, +15° and -15°, for example. Binding angles are very much a matter of personal choice. Feel free to check out what others are doing and try out different options.

What's the right size snowboard binding for me?

For the All Road 500 bindings, we recommend: M = 4 to 6 (EU 36 to 41) / L = 9 to 13 (EU 42 to 47). But just like you use your own foot when trying a shoe, we strongly recommend that you try the bindings with your own snowboard shoes, because the same shoe size can have a different volume depending on the brand.

Storage instructions

Before each trip, tighten all the binding screws. Storing for the summer: you can leave your bindings on the snowboard.
