Product Customer Reviews

As the women with wide toes area I found men’s shoes more comfortable. Decathlon xt7 are extremely well fitting with arch support and good sole grip. Recommended for anyone who looks comfortable shoes for doing a lot of moving and standing.
Sole breaking off after 1 hike
I cannot review these shoes for their intended purpose of trail running, but I can do so for their use as hiking shoes, which is becoming increasingly common. In fact, I recently finished the Appalachian Trail using just 2 pairs of these! Now, I really should have gotten a third pair as I pushed the second pair farther than was smart, but at the time I needed a new pair they had disappeared from this site (for any staff reading, your search is horrible - even doing a "kiprun xt7" search now will NOT surface the men's shoes). Regardless, the fact that I was able to hike 2,200 miles on just two pairs of these shoes is as good a testimony for their quality as anything else I could say. I actually used the first pair for probably 200 miles of preparation and then 864 miles to start the trail and used the second pair for the remaining 1300+ miles. The rocks of Pennsylvania did leave some tearing on the top toes area, which I re-sealed with some Shoe Goo and then toward the very end the fabric on the top area started developing significant wear and tear but again a little Shoe Goo held them together until the end. As for the soles and even the toe guard, there was never once any kind of separation and the tread held up remarkably well (they lugs are quite massive so can take a pounding before wearing down). Most of my friends were using $120+ shoes (Altra, Salomon, La Sportiva, Hoka, etc.) and they tended to last about 500-600 miles each (with wear and tear starting before then) so even if you don't push yours as far as I pushed mine, they will definitely prove more durable than the more expensive alternatives. As for fit, I went up a half size to start and then a full size for the second pair since my preferred size was out of stock. I don't have especially wide feet so I cannot speak to comfort for those that do, but I found them quite comfortable and when using all the eyelets the shoes hugged my heels nicely, helping prevent any blisters in that area. I only paid $50 for these shoes and now I see they are much higher, so I don't understand what's happening with the pricing (or the color selection, which is no longer the same as when I ordered mine). Still, even at this price I would call this shoe a winner compared to the competition.
Such a shame these are to narrow for me. If you have wider feet with higher arches .These will not work. It would be nice to see widths added to sizing charts when ordering shoes.
Great running shoes, usually hard for me to find good ones, this one is fantastic.
Good comfy, awesome grip
......
I normally pay 200+ for a pair of runners and tried a pair of $50 on special trail runner, bloody excellent ! Bang for buck
early days but very comfortable so far
Good quality
I use these shoes for hillwalking during the drier months. They are extremely comfortable and have a level of grip which exceeds top brand name shoes which cost double the price. The only reason I've not given 5 stars is an annoying squeek from the sole of the right shoe when walking on tarmac.
Very comfortable & built to last
I've run in top end shoes, and I've put some miles in. I've always found Decathlon trainers to last as long as the major brands. I've now run in these for around 8 months including 100Km Ultra across Exmore. I can't fault them! The 1 year replacement guarantee that Decathlon offer is also brilliant.
I purchased these trail shoes for dog walking and thought that they would probably do for 2/3 months, they are excellent, so comfortable with a great grip and still going great
I've had all makes and models of shoes over the years, but I've always had a few niggles here and there, whether it be grip, comfort, fit. These are my current go to shoe, having been wearing them for training on the fells or urban orienteering. I live in Keswick, so they get a good thrashing on all the runs I do and I have to say I'm impressed. The fit is true to my sizing in Nike and Inov8. The are a narrower fit, but my feet are pretty normal, so not a problem. Nothing seems to be tearing or cracking and the grip is holding up. I'll be getting another pair for sure.
