The watertightness of the swimming cap varies according to the model: The mesh cap is not at all watertight and lets the water in. The silicone mesh cap is made of watertight pieces, but the water passes through the seams, offering better protection against splashing water. The material of the silicone cap offers the best watertightness. PLEASE NOTE: NO SWIMMING CAPS ARE 100% WATERTIGHT. THE WATER FLOWS UNDER THE CAP, ESPECIALLY AROUND THE EARS.

MESH CAP: Easy to put on, comfortable, not too tight. Ideal for beginners, practical for use in spas. Suitable for aquafitness, because it produces less heat. SILICONE MESH CAP: Very easy to put on and comfortable, greater hold. Ideal for intermediate swimmers. SILICONE CAP: Greater hold, better glide. Ideal for advanced swimmers, for training and competitions. Caution: as a consequence, it is not so easy to put on.
